*2 months later*

Knock knock knock. The knocking on my bedroom door wouldn't stop and I knew exactly who it was.

"Just open the door and stop being lazy." Harry continued to knock. I looked over at my clock and groaned. 9:00am. "Please! We have things to do! I... I have a present for you!" I grinned. I had a present to give him too. I shot out of bed, not even caring what I looked like, ran to my closet, and fished out his gift. We liked to be cheesy and we got each other gifts for our 2 month anniversary of being friends. We have grown a lot closer and we were almost inseparable. I felt bad because I was a lot closer to Harry than I was with Mackenzie or Lizzie but in my defense, they were acting really weird. They almost ignored me at school and never texted me, but acted extremely friendly when they saw me in school with Harry. I felt used.

"Me too." I jogged over to the door and flung it open. As soon as it was open, Harry sprinted into my room and tackled me onto my bed. "Hello to you too." I tried to get him off of me but he wouldn't move. "You're still on me you know"

"I know. You're just really comfy" he finally rolled off of me and flipped on the bed right next to me. "Here" he smiled while handing me a small, wrapped box. I quickly ripped the wrapping off and lifted the lid of the box.

"It's beautiful. I can't accept this, it's too much. I don't deserve it" I said staring at the beautiful bracelet. "I thought we decided on small gifts?"

"What are you talking about? You're crazy. Let me put it on because you do deserve it. We're best friends, duh. I just wanted to give you something nice" he sat up and I followed him. He picked up my hand and clipped the bracelet around my wrist. "Perfect"

"Thank you so much" I pulled him into and hug and he immediately embraced me, making me feel how warm and comforting he was. I smelled his cologne which I loved. Harry started wearing it a lot more after I had told him one day that it was my favorite. I slowly pulled away from him but he grabbed me by my shoulders before I could pull completely away.

"You're welcome" he whispered and I felt his warm breath which gave me goosebumps. Then I noticed how close our faces were, just a few centimeters away. Without thinking, my hand gently landed on his cheek while we stared into each others eyes. "Can I ask..." He started to ask but abruptly stopped and grunted with what seem like frustration. "Ugh, never mind"

"Are you sure? You can ask me anything. We're best friends, I'll listen." I spoke softly.

He cringed. "Best friends" he repeated. "I know and it's not that important" he smiled back but I could tell it was fake. He didn't try wry hard to make it look real.

"If you're sure. Here" I answered handing him a book I made. It was more like a scrapbook filled with pictures of us throughout the time we've known each other. "We take a lot of pictures, especially when we're with the boys, and a lot has happened so I just thought this would be a good idea. Yours is definitely better." He started flipping through the book and smiling.

"Nicole, this is perfect! I love it." He flipped through it some more and started laughing "Niall is such a pig" he pointed at a picture that I took after finding Niall in a mess of a kitchen at the boys' house. He had tried to make a cake but ended up eating the batter and spilling it everywhere along with all of the other ingredients.

"He really is. I'm glad you like it." I really was. I took such a long time to make this.

"I love it" he pulled me in for another hug which made me feel calm and relaxed. "Thank you. Now you should go get ready, the boys told me not to take long and bring you as soon as possible."

"Are we going out?" I asked getting up from the bed and walking towards my closet.

"We're probably going out to dinner later. They wanted to hang out first though."

"Okie dokie." I pulled out a black knitted dress that I haven't worn yet. Then, I gathered my towel and undergarments I needed to get dressed and headed to the bathroom to shower. After taking a quick shower, I dried myself off, and slipped on the dress. "Ugh" I grunted to myself and walked out of the bathroom, straight to my closet.

"What's wrong?" Harry looked up from playing on his phone on my bed curiously.

"This dress looks terrible on me. It's fine, I'll find something else."

"What are you talking about? It looks amazing!"

"No it doesn't. I look gross" I pulled open my closet doors and just stared.

"Whatever you say?" I just ignored his comment and continued to look for something until I felt strong arms wrap around my waist and pull me towards my bedroom door.

"Harry, get off!" I tried to wiggle out if his grip, but unfortunately, he was too strong for me. All I was accomplishing was making the stupid dress ride up higher and higher every time.

"Only if you promise to wear this" he spoke into my ear, referring to my dress. "It looks nice" I couldn't help but get goosebumps.

"Harry, it's too short and tight. I don't exactly feel like showing off my body" I kept struggling for him to let go "I don't like it"

"I like it short" goosebumps. "Just finish getting ready so we can leave" he quickly let go and pushed me towards the bathroom. Like always, I decided to e stubborn and push against him to go back to my closet. "Nicole, stop. I'll have to tickle you and in that dress, it could get inappropriate" he winks. He can be such a flirt sometimes.

"Yeah, whatever you perve" I huffed before stomping to the bathroom to fix the mess on my head. After about 15 minutes of messing with my hair and makeup, I decided I was ready.

"That took forever!" Harry complained as I walked down the stairs though "but you look great"

"Just be happy I'm wearing the dress. Let's go" Harry shot up from the couch and opened the door, motioning for me to go first.

"Ladies first."
