I Am An Eagle
I see you die for your country,
You lay down your life to protect
the lives you've never met;
I watch you die.
I see sorrowful fields of lifeless bodies,
You lay perfectaly still in a pool of scarlet.
The rain comes pouring down
And I cry for you.
Your family anxiously waits
For the letter you never sent.
Instead they get a hand delivered note;
Then they cry for you.
Many tears flow like rivers
Down the cheeks of the lonely ones.
Many children cry of confusion,
I watch as they understand.
I see all that happens,
I watch families fall apart,
I witness the death of a soldier,
I soar above the world.
I am The Guardian.
I am an angel.
I am a free spirit.
I am an eagle.
