Chapter 2: Rock Paper Scissors

*Cole's POV*

<3 days later>

I didn't go to work for the past 3 days, I couldn't face Xander after what happened...I haven't eaten or slept since that day and I don't plan on showing my face again any time soon. I hope Xander's okay, I don't want him to be like this. I shifted around in my bed and heard a crinkling sound. I reached into my back pocket and pulled out a folded piece of paper and opened it. I gasped, It was Jayden's number! I looked around my house for my phone, I found it underneath my bed. I couldn't talk to him without crying so I sent him a quick,"Hi, it's Cole" hoping that he'll respond. After a few minutes he texted back,"Hello Cole, you haven't been at the club for 3 days, is everything okay? I'm calling you now, you better answer" and as soon as I read it he called, I was hesitant but I answered,"h-hello...?" "Cole what happened?" Jayden asked, well more like demanded I tell him. I started crying,"X-Xander yelled at m-me, a-and now he wont even talk t-to me..." I managed out. He growled through the phone "I'll kill him. You didn't even do anything wrong." "I-I ditched him to talk to you though..." He sighed,"Okay, want to come over to my house to take your mind off things?" I swear my heart stopped, HE JUST ASKED ME TO GO TO HIS HOUSE AHHHHHH!!!!!!! I cleared my throat,"U-Um yeah sure, that's cool" He chuckled,"Okay just text me your address and I'll come pick you up" "okay, see you in a few" "bye Cole" he hung up first and I did the same a few seconds after.

After about 15 minutes I showered, had my hair and teeth brushed, and was dressed in a grey hoodie with a Van Halen shirt underneath, some black skinny jeans, and some converse. I heard a honk outside my apartment building so I basically ran out of the building, but I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw his car. IT WAS A FRIKEN RED FERRARI!!! Jayden got out and opened the passenger door for me. I blushed and got in, he put my seat belt on for me which made me blush even more. Jayden got in the drivers side and drove to this GIGANTIC mansion like house! I was in awe until Jayden snapped his fingers in my face. He chuckled and led me inside.

As he led me to the living room I saw a young boy, maybe about 14 or 15 years old playing Mario Kart. "Dustin, this is Cole, Cole this is my younger brother Dustin"Jayden said. Dustin looked at me and asked,"Hey, wanna play some Mario Kart with me?" I smiled and looked at Jayden, he nodded so I went and sat next to Dustin. He handed me a controller and told me how to play.

After about an hour of playing, I was sitting calmly and playing while Dustin was standing and yelling at the tv as he played. Jayden walked in and smirked,"Did Cole beat you at your own game Dustin?" He said. "No! Maybe! Yes..."Dustin said with disappointment. I giggled a little,"sorry about that Dustin" I said with a smile. Dustin blushed a little and mumbled something I couldn't hear.

When Dustin and I stopped playing he showed me around the house. They had an indoor pool and an outdoor pool! A game room with a pool table, a poker table, a friken foosball thingy! Basically everything! Dustin told me Jayden was in his room so I went upstairs and knocked on his door. He opened the door,"Hey, did you kick ass in Mario Kart?" he asked with an amused smirk on his face. I nodded and smiled shyly. Jayden opened his door wider and let me in.

*Jayden's POV*

I laid on my bed and looked at Cole. He looked so cute just standing there, not knowing what to do or say. "Cole, come and sit" I said/demanded. I saw him shiver a little bit, and blushed when he sat next to me. I wanted to make things in interesting so I pulled Cole on top of me. I look at his beautiful face which was a nice shade of red at this moment. I stroked his cheek,"You look so adorable Cole..." I said quietly. He just looked down, I was about to ask him what was wrong but right before I asked, I felt something dripping on my shirt. I tilted Cole's face up and saw that he was crying. "Cole...what's the matter?" I asked him, i was very concerned I did something wrong. He tried to wipe his tears away, but they kept leaking from his eyes. "I-I can't stay here...I-I wanna go home..." Cole said while trying to calm down. I nodded and picked him up bridal style, and walked out to my car. I placed him on the seat and looked at his tear stained face, he looked awful...I want him to be smiling again, like he used to before he met me. I closed he door and walked to my side.

When we got to Cole's apartment building I saw Xander waiting on the doorsteps. Cole got out and I followed. Xander saw Cole and he looked hurt to see Cole in this state. When his eyes landed on me, his mood changed from 0-100 in a second. Xander got up and hugged Cole and comforted him as he cried his eyes out, saying he was sorry and wanted to go home. As he was hugging and stroking Cole's hair he was glaring at me with rage filled eyes. His eyes softened as Cole hugged Xander back.

*Xander's POV*

I kissed Cole's forehead gently, knowing he had a headache from crying and hugged him tighter. Cole kept saying how sorry he was, that made me realize something that I need to tell him. I leaned down and whispered in his ear,"I'm sorry but...I still love you Cole, I don't care if you like him...but always remember that I love you and will be here when HE does something stupid to you" Cole's eyes widened, I could see that he was already having a hard time with mr muscles over there and having me confess to him didn't help at all. Cole started crying even more and said it's too hard, and that he doesn't want to do this anymore. I felt really bad for him...he must be so confused right now. So I made him look at me,"You are going to spend one night at both of our houses and then you should have your answer, okay?" Cole nodded a little and looked at That Guy and smiled slightly and did the same thing with me. "O-Okay, but who's house will I go to first?" Cole said, still with a smile on his face. "We could do rock, paper, scissors for him?" Said HIM.

HE won so he got Cole first. As Cole went to get his things HE looked at me with a smirk,"I'm Jayden, good luck." I scoffed,"Like I need it, Cole and I dated before, he'll come back around." He looked shocked to hear that me and Cole dated before, I think he's gonna steal Cole's first kiss! Crap! I didn't think about that until now!

*Cole's POV*

I walked back down to them and saw that they were glaring at each other so I walked up to Xander and gave him a kiss on the cheek and did the same with Jayden, and that was harrrrrd, he's too tall!!! I got in the car with Jayden and put my bag on my lap.

When we got there I started to get nervous, I mean I never thought I would sleep over at an older guys house...speaking of, HOW OLD IS HE?!?! "U-um...how old are you Jayden?" I asked him shyly. He looked at me and smiled,"I'm 22 years old, hope that doesn't change anything for us" I blushed and smiled a little, his smile is so handsome... He led me to his room, holding my bag for me and put it on his bed,"Do you want to sleep in my bed with me or do you want me to sleep on the floor?"Jayden asked. I hated sleeping alone, I know it's weird that I live by myself but I hate sleeping alone, it's scary at night! "Ummm...with me?" I said, well more like asked. He smirked,"Of course" he said in a really hot voice that sent shivers down my spine. This was going to be a crazy night.
