It has been 4 years since the undoing was born. Alistar has always been a happy girl from the start, always playing, running around, talking non stop. A very healthy and normal girl. Father has accepted her into the family. The 4 year old shows promise.

As for me, I have started to become an outcast. I am now 9 but I still cannot speak. My parents are still proud of me, but I am worried. I might be a good student, I might always do my chores and my homework, but I am still worried. My ability's have grown. I can still hear peoples thoughts and send them mine, but I can make them stop talking, I can take away their sense of smell. If mother and father were ever to discover my abilitys, I don't know what would become of me.

Roseabelle has shown more promise than I have. She is now always obeying the rules, doing her homework, always doing her chores, and no ability's have come in for her. She has a great chance of forever being accepted into this family. The 7 year old shows so much greatness, her older years will be spent well.

"Scorch honey, me and your father are going to go out for our anniversary. Our neighbor Kevin's daughter Kelly will be watching you girls. Be good. Roseabelle, make sure that she knows the run down." I could hear Rosabelle's voice down the hall screaming, "Yes mother, we love you." Mother joined in on her statement, "We love you all, too. In bed by nine o clock, tonight. Good bye, children." Roseabelle answered for us. "Good bye mother and father." The front door slammed behind them.

Now, let me explain Kelly to you. Kevin, her father, has always had trouble with his young girl, so he sends her to all of the neighbors for babysitting jobs to shape her up. It never works.

We have had her babysit us many times now, and it is always the same routine. She sits down on the couch, pulls out her little cell phone, calls her boyfriend and all of their friends, and have a pool party in our backyard. The neighbors never notice because we live out in the country and our neighbors are very far apart from us. Of course, with the pool party comes her alcohol and drugs. She's 16 and her boyfriend's 20. Kevin's a single dad, so he has to work all of the time to get enough money for him and Kelly to live. I feel very bad for Kevin, he's a good person with a very idiotic daughter.

Twenty minutes later Kelly came knocking on the door. It was a beautiful Friday after noon in June, school was almost over. Elementary school got out at 3, so of course we had all of our homework done by the time Kelly showed up at 4:20. We could all watch an hour of tv, and the rest of the day we were allowed to read, talk (or, write in my case), write, we could all make one phone call to a friend (Roseabelle always made mine for me), we could play in the pool, or on the trampoline. I never played outside with the girls when Kelly was around, though. We would not survive if she was watching us outside.

I walked out of my room to the stairs. The upstairs wasn't too special. Three rooms, my room was on the left, then our bathroom was next to it, then Alistar's room, and on the far right was Rosabelle's room. It was a decent sized hallway, and a simple carpeted staircase. I made my way down the stairs.

Alistar was sitting on the couch with Roseabelle, about to start our hour of television. I walked over to join them.

Roseabelle started to talk right when she caught eye of me. "Kelly and her friends are already having a pool party. She's buying pizza for dinner. I already finished my homework, Ali didn't get any do to Pre-School. You finished yours, right?" I nodded my head yes in response. "Good. All the chores are done and the house is clean. I'm assuming that since Kelly is here, you are in charge?" I nodded my head yes again. "Good. Let's start with one of Ali's shows and then one of ours."

After sitting through a half an hour of Mikey Mouse and then a half an hour of Winx Club, the pizza was here. I went to Mom and Dad's jar and payed the pizza man. He handed us about forty boxes of pizza. Roseabelle came up to explain for me. "Sir, we only ordered one box and only payed you for one, you must have the wrong house." Right on cue, Kelly ran inside, soaking wet and dripping water everywhere. She was in a bikini and didn't even grab a towel.

The delivery man was just staring at her. She pushed Roseabelle out of her way. "Out of my way, Brat!" Roseabelle landed on her butt. She immediately shoved me down, too. I also fell on my butt. She pulled out a couple hundred dollar bills and handed them to the delivery boy. "Thanks. You should come join the party!" They both took the pizza outside, leaving us with our box of pizza on the floor with us. The pizza boy didn't return.

"Well he's fired. Good thing non of the pizza fell out of our box." I thought to Roseabelle: "She is so fired, too. I'm tired of this. I'm going to have you call mother and father after six o'clock and explain to her what has happened. They should be done with there dinner by then." Roseabelle sighed. "Can we eat our food first? We'll get to cleaning this up after we eat, how about we call them at 7. Give us some time to eat and clean this up and do the dishes. They better be using paper plates out there, though." I thought back to her: "They probably aren't using plates at all. Also, they have plastic cups out there."

After we had eaten our pizza and cleaned up the mess, I had Roseabelle call mother and father for me. The conversation wasn't to special.

M: Rosey, why are you wasting your call on us?

R: Actually, It's Scorch's call.

M: Oh, what is this about?

R: (She explained the situation to mother, who added in a bunch of uh huh's and okay's.)

M: Honey, you should have told us sooner.

R: We didn't want to cause any trouble.

M: We are coming right home. We will be there in an hour. So, around eight o'clock.

R: Okay mother, we love you.

M: We love you all, too. We will see you then. Good bye.

R: Bye mommy.

Rosey then hung up the phone.

At around seven forty five ish, I went to go confront Kelly and her friends with Roseabelle at my side. Alistar followed right behind us, we didn't feel safe leaving her alone. Roseabelle simply called Kelly over to speak with her.

"Mother and father will be coming home early. They know all about this." Kelly's faced turned to pure anger. "You brats told them?!" If she ever knew a name. To her we are brat 1, brat 2, and brat 3. Nothing more, nothing less.

"I am going to kill you brats!" Those words, not in her life. "Hey, baby calm down, their just kids. So what, you get fired. Whatever. Oh, mute girl looks angry." The boyfriend, what an idiot. I wish this bafoon could her me. "Bafoon!" Oops. Everyone will think that he's just flat out crazy, anyway.

Kelly slapped Roseabelle across the face. "Who do you brats think you are?!" I turned around, about to grab them and run, but Alistar was gone. She reappeared right next to me. Everyone looked at her in shock.

Kelly stared at Roseabelle, and went to hit her again. Roseabelle freaked, she yipped, and in a poof of smoke she became a weasle. Kelly was completely freaked out, she fainted. I picked up my weasle sister, and grabbed Alistar's hand, who kept drifting in and out of sight. Everyone was staring behind me, and there stood my parents.

Everyone was out of the pool, I turned to see all of the party goers laying down on the ground, asleep. I then turned to my parents, who were looking around and trying to touch things like blind dogs. Blind. Dogs. I had taken their sight from them.
