Trouble In Paradise Book 2
Raheem and Kai are back.
They've brought along their son Aiden.
Life's going good, until someone from their past pops up.
Relationships are tested, love ones are lost and much more.
Raheem held his thumb on the bridge of his nose, debating on if he should light up a blunt to ease some pain, or go home and let God handle everything. He had been on the edge every since the incident with Kai. He couldn't sleep knowing the person who did that was still alive and capable of doing it again. He felt like he had failed Kai and he was determined to find out who did that and he was going to make them pay.
"Bruh, fye the shit up." Rommel said.
Raheem shot Rommel an annoyed glance, then removed the BIC lighter from his denim pockets. He lit the blunt, and immediately begin coughing, since smoking wasn't an everyday thing anymore. He didn't stop smoking by choice, he just didn't have time to stop his day and light up a blunt, he was always so busy.
Rommel sensed his uneasiness, "Relax dog."
Raheem handed him the blunt, then leaned his head on the couch. He started thinking about what Kai had said about moving. He wanted to, but then again he had unfinished business in Atlanta. He would have to sit down with his mom and see what she thought about that.
"You stressing too much." Rommel said. "This ain't like you."
Rommel and Raheem had met over the years through other friends. They just hung out without the other friends because they seen eye to eye on shit the others didn't. Rommel thought Raheem was letting little shit get him out of character and he wasn't about to let his homie go out like that.

"You right, I am." Raheem responded. "But I can't be cool when the person who did this shit is still out there and could be planning some more."
Rommel nodded, "I feel you bruh. We gone get whoever, you got word from E yet?"
E stood for Emmanuel. He was an older man who found out shit on just about anything he wanted to know. He was a friend of Raheem's dad and been looking out for Raheem every since they had met a while ago.
"He gone come through, I hope." Raheem said.
"Stop tripping. Be easy." Rommel said, passing him the blunt, but Raheem declined.
"I'm straight, I'm about to go get Aiden." He said.
Rommel and him dapped one another up, before he left. He was kind of upset his mans was down, but then again he got the rest of the blunt to himself, so he wouldn't trip.
Raheem headed to get Aiden from his mom's house. Him and Kai had decided they would send him back to school once some of this died down, meanwhile he'd be receiving a home teacher over the course of time. Aiden would probably be upset once he realized he would be home from school for awhile, but they were planning on letting him have some friends over on weekends.
