#ChapterTwo
Friday. A week later.
Kai smiled as she and Raheem had their hands locked together. The warmth of his hand alone made her smile, she was in love.
He had brought her down to the Tanger Outlet, so she could shop and he could spend time with her. Aiden had wanted to go with his grandma, Nancy and that saved them the headache.
"This outlet is beautiful, I like it." Kai said, squeezing Raheem's hand. "Thanks for bringing me."
Raheem looked at her with annoyed expression. He had told her on multiple occasions not to thank him for something he was obligated to do as her man. She insisted, though. She wanted to let him know she was thankful.
"Don't thank me, shawty." He replied. "I'm your man, I have to do this."
She blushed like a kid. He was so gentle and made her bubble up with the littlest things. She did not understand what he seen in her, he could have much more cuter chicks and he chose her. She kissed him and he bit her lip, making her moan in his mouth then he let go.
"Please stop with the word shawty, though." Kai said.
The word got under her skin. People had said that word to her so much, she hated it.
"Sorry. Hold some bags please though." He said. "Who are you supposed to be? Queen Elizabeth?"
Kai laughed and grabbed some from his hands. He acted like a weight had been lifted from his shoulders and did a dramatic sigh.
"Do too much, oh my gosh." Kai said, giggling.
Before Raheem had a chance to respond, a man approached them, mostly Kai because he eyed her down.
He looked like he could be around 25. He was light-skin, around 5'9 with a gash right above his chin. He flashed his white teeth, then begin speaking.
"Hey, I'm David and I seen you from back there at the cafe. You looked stunning, I had to approach you." He said as he straightened up his white shirt that clung to his body.
"She married man, get the fuck on." Raheem said. "To me, by the way."
David seemed unbothered because he chuckled. He held up his hand, flashing his 10karat diamond engagement ring.
"I have no intentions on dating your wife, I'm married also." He replied. "Also, gay by the way."
"Oh alright." Raheem said.
He could not stand homo's. He had to remove himself from around David, quick. He let Kai know he would be in the car and left.
"My bad, my bad." Kai said as she placed her hands in her back pockets. "What's up, though?"
"Let me get down to business, I work at a modeling agency, Couture modeling to be exact and I'm also an agent looking for a model to represent me around the world and you are beautiful and perfect for me. I'm not the only agent that'll work with you, someone else might pick you up with a much higher salary and I don't blame you if you switch over but you won't be in Atlanta on every shoot, commercial or whatever you do, you'll be around the world but only if you desire." David said. "What do you think?"
Kai went over what he had said. Modeling could be fun and she wanted to do something new. The said thing is she had a lot too handle as is. Managing school, being a mother and someone's significant other was hard and exhausting and she thought about having to add modeling on her schedule and she'd be beyond exhausted. She had no time. Becoming a pediatrician would forever be her dream and leaving school would be no option, she had came to far to be giving up for something she had no clue would take her.
