*sorry if a line runs over like the first one "my heart has been stomped on repeatedly" but its a 1 2 3 2 pattern...if u know what that means
my heart has been stomped on repeatedly
and torn from my flesh
my lungs can barely breathe in air
while my heart cant beat like the rest
my mind set has drifted off
to dark and rainy rooms
where I can ignore the aching
of what my heart can't do
I have gathered all my pieces and roughly shoved them through the hole
that someone left a gapping
when they realized my thoughts weren't home
they're bunched up and roughly tied
with the string of my demented thoughts
and knotted with the intentions to never be unlocked
because if someone pulled on the string
around my aching heart
they would see just how I'm shaking
and crying in the dark
I'm sewing my chest shut
with the strings left from my flesh
the pieces that fell off
in the atrocious scary mess
so when your heart is stomped on
and you don't know where to go
just come wandering to me
and I'll teach you how to sew
