How could it be? How could I let it get this far? I need to stop it now...it's getting out of control...
Zendi Portan awakes from her horrible dream with a blood-curdling scream. Her fiancé, David Lacko, rushes in from the bathroom to check on her.
"Are you OK?!" He asked, alarmed.
" Yeah...it was a nightmare that's all..." she says in between breaths. Little did she know that the nightmares meant something....as if someone or something is trying to warn her about an upcoming event...but what? Her dreams get very vivid, sometimes she feels like it is happening, and sometimes she is just watching it like you would with a T.V. show. This time it is completely different, this time she is in it.
She sees her fiancé through the lake cabin window with a knife, carving something, red ooze dripping from his hand to the knife and onto the floor. She enters the cabin silently hoping that this is not David, the man she's about to marry. He spotted her near the windowsill and when their eyes met she can tell that the real David is gone and is replaced by what is now a monster. One vicious, angry monster... He ignored her presence and kept on carving the object in front of him. She moves in closer to get a better view of what he is doing. As she gets closer, the object slowly comes into view, "Oh God!" She wails. She cupped her mouth and began moving back, absorbing the shock. She reaches the corner, sits down in a crouch position, and cries into her palms. Each tear feels like fire down her cheek; the image of that dead body, lying helplessly on the floor as it was being carved. Shreds and bits of that little girl are everywhere on the floor, and scattered all around the room were the different kinds of tools that he had used. A thick, bloody, disgusting smell hung in the room heavy like a thick blanket enough to feel suffocating to her.
"Wake up! Wake up!" David is yelling in my ears. At the sight of him, I start bawling my eyes out and he doesn't know what happened."What's the matter with you? It looks as if you've seen a ghost!" He is shocked, I can see fright fill his eyes, or are those tears?
But before I could answer...everything went black...and boy was I in for one hell of a ride.
