Chapter 5 Birthday

*A Few Months Later*

My birthday is coming up real soon but I don't know whether I wanna go all out or just invite the closest people to me.

Sabrina, the wedding planner, is also gonna do my Sweet Sixteen she told me to think about some ideas for it.

So first we had to pick a venue I chose a place with a massive hall which we was going to decorate it came with an outdoor pool that we was also going to add human hamster balls on the pool, fireworks and the venue already has bar minus the alcohol. (I guess I'm going all out then).

The day before my birthday we had a famliy dinner, which I was very grateful for. Even though it's my birthday dinner I couldn't resist getting them a few things. It's a surprise for them all, just a little thanks for putting up with me gift, I got them when me and Kayden went out together to the mall (no we're not official, not yet anyway).

After dinner I felt the need to make a speech.
"I want to thank everyone here for making me a part of this family. I've never ever been so grateful in my whole, entire life soo... With all my savings I bought use all a little something"

For the girls I got cute necklaces and the boys got rolex watches, but for Kayden I got him matching charm bracelets that have to K's on them. When I gave it to them they all gave me huge hugs. Kayden gave me a peck on the cheek, pulled me in for a hug and whispered thank you and compliments during our embrace.

"Thank you Karli were so happy you want to be here" Kris said with tears streaming down her face, from the speech, Khloe says she cries quite a lot.

On the journey home we made a pit stop at the closest frozen yogurt store we were craving for the fro-yo.
When we was back on the road I started to think. I'm turning sixteen I'd be leaving high school going to college this is the big but, as usual, my mum isn't here for another one of my birthday's.

It's times like this when I think sometimes, just sometimes, my mum doesn't bother looking for me.

*The Next Day*

When I woke up, it was quite early because of my stupid alarm, but I could smell my favourite breakfast coming from downstairs. Bacon Sandwiches.

When I went downstairs the lights were out and I saw nothing no-one, not even my bacon sandwiches.

Then out of nowhere...
"SURPRISE" Khloe, Lamar and Katie jumped out. And I literally screamed.
"Oh my gosh you guys scared the life out of me!"
"Well happy birthday to you sweetheart!" Lamar said sweetly.

He got me a necklace saying KarliK and Katie got me makeup and a cute outfit, which I might wear to my date with Kayden.
About him I'm he's going to my birthday, but I can't even wait for our date.

We went to the venue, just to make sure everything was settled for today. Then after, me and Khloe got takeaway from my favourite fast food restaurant.

2hours until my birthday party and I'm very, very nervous.

Oh did I mention that my driving license came today, I completely forgot all about driving, huh, I'm surprised I didn't notice because I will, most likely, be getting a car today as a present.

I am so lucky, I mean imagine me a year ago. I would be sat there, on my bed, reading my mums letter over and over again with about a bajillion tears running down my face. And I would be wondering when is she coming, why is she taking so long and my personal favourite, why didn't I get a present for my birthday that year?

But now I couldn't care less I'm healthier and happier than I ever was and if my mum doesn't find my I'll be glad to stay with the Kardashians.

When I got back from the restaurant, I had to get ready for my birthday. First I got my make-up done, (which didn't take as long as I thought) then I had to get my dress on it was hard to pick one dress so I asked Kylie to help me choose, she chose a really nice dress with jewels on it was quite long but not so long after I got my outfit on I had to put a night gown on so to hair bits got on my dress.

When I finished getting ready, I got in a limo with my four best friends Ava, Natalie, Lily and Brianna. We were heading to the venue for, MY BIRTHDAY BASH!!

"Hooray!!" Everyone cheered when I walk through the door I wanted to cry I've never been so welcomed and felt like part of something that these people make me feel.

As I walk to the front of the hall a few tear drops come from my face I didn't want to show any sad emotions but I had time.

"Happy birthday babe". Kayden said lovingly.

"Thanks, did you just come in?Anyway, lets go somewhere private" I said.

"I had to get my car fixed but it's fine now I got you a gift" he replied
He got me a ring then he said
"Don't think this is a proposal,
but I've never met anyone so beautiful;
Your in my dreams at night,
When I'm with you there's no pain in sight;
I give you this ring,
As a show of my adoration for you;
My love for you has no end,
So...will you be my girlfriend?" He said very sweetly, yet frightened.

I didn't even need to hesitate I new the answer.

"Of course I will Kayden!" I went straight for a hug."God, I love you!"I gave him peck on the cheek and we headed back down stairs he didn't have to leave just yet so
We danced together to my favourite song.

During the song I got called out my mum (yes,you heard me, I feel like I can finally call Khloe my mum).

"Karli, come up here"

Everyone looked at me and that made me quite nervous. I slowly made my way to the stage.

"Erm, I don't down what to say,
I guess I want to thank everyone for coming here. I've actually never had a birthday party in my life so thank you. Thank you Sabrina for planning all this,, I also want to say a very big thanks to the Kardashian family for making me feel at home with them. But I also want to say a very big thanks to one person in particular... Khloe, she takes care of me and without her I wouldn't be here tonight I wouldn't have met all of you people and boyfriend Kayden so thank you Mum"

I was quite scared what people would say about my speech but they all loved it, they cheered again.

"Let's go in the human hamster balls!" I said to my best friends they were six hamster balls on top of the pool which were gigantic.
"Whoah" Natalie shouted.
"This is hella, scary" Lily muttered quietly. "I'm so lucky to have friends like you guys" I spoke truthfully.
"No problem" Ava laughed.
"We thank you Karls for letting us come to party" Brianna said.

"Group hug" we all shouted at the same time. Then we realised that we were in hamster balls and laughed our heads off.
