Chapter 12 The One Thats Always There

9 Months Later
It's been nine months since Khloe told us that She's not even t was pregnant with twins. So it's any day now she's POP!!!.
I've been helping her, A lot actually we've painted the baby room half blue half pink and it's dead cute to be honest the room filled with toys the cots are adorable.

It's my birthday today.
I'm 17 today. I'm so excited. I'm not doing anything big or anything but Kaiden said he's taking me out for dinner.
"Mom I'm going out for dinner"
"Ooh honey have a great dinner and birthdayyy Oww" she said in bits of pain.
"Are you sure I shouldn't stay maybe I should just cancel on Kaiden I don't think he will mind".I said feeling guilty.
"No Karli you should go,go celebrate I'll be fine your dad gonna be back in 5 minutes" she said.
"Okay call if you need me"
I left. I was outside, Kaiden was there waiting for me he was wearing a tuxedo.
"It's about time"he said.
"I know I was just checking if Khloe need anything before I went"
"Your so kind I think your gonna make a great older sister"
"You think so"
"I know so" he said.
He took us to the restaurant that we went to on our first date.
It was dead sweet it was great then my phone rang.
~Ring Ring~
"Hello"
"Karli it's me"
"Hey dad,what's wrong, is mom okay"
"Yeah she's fine but her water broke she's gonna have baby now but she wants you to be here"
"OMG I'm on my way"
I cut the phone.
"Khloe's in labour"
"Should we go" he said.
"Yeah we should"
"Come on"
I felt bad.
As we pulled up in the car I send to Kaiden "I'm sorry you planned a great dinner and now you here in the hospital"
"It's fine we can finish off another time see you good luck"
"Are you not gonna come inside with me?"
"Naaa I don't thing I should it's your family"
"Come please" I begged.
Eventually he gave in.
"Dad where are the twins?"
"There over here"
"Aww there so cute"
I picked the tiny baby boy.
"We've decided to call the girl Kacey
And they young boy Kade"
"Those are great names Khloe and Lamar congratulations" Kaiden said.
"Well I better be off then"
"You should go with him Karli it's still your birthday I don't want you to be in a hospital"
"Are you sure"
"Of course I'm"
"Thanks mom I will come see you in the morning"
Kaiden and I drove home. It was getting quite late so he stayed over.
"Your mom just had a baby I mean two babies on your birthday, how do u feel"
He asked.
"How I'm I supposed to feel, I guess I'm am not the only child she has now"
"I guess not"
"I'm not bothered at least I can spend more time with you"
"Yeah"

Next morning.
"We're back"
I woke up and ran to the top of the stairs.
Lamar was holding a pink car seat and Khloe was holding a blue one.
Kaiden had already gone. So I didn't have to wake him.
"My mom and my sisters came to visit me, this morning after the tests"
"That must of been great"
"Yeah and now I'm tired so I'm gonna go to bed, Lamar gone to the gym and the twins are asleep"
"Okay I'm in my room doing ...... Nothing"

Hour later
Waaa hhhwaaa knock knock
I woke to the sound of babies crying and someone knocking on the door.
"Mom the twins are crying I shouted.
As a walked to answer the door.
"Hey"
"Hey" it was Kaiden.
"How's your mom doing"
"Fine, I think she's asleep though because I can still hear that baby crying" I said walking to the babies room, with Kaiden.
I stood by Kacey's crib I tried to sway it but she was still crying.
"Maybe you should pick her up"
"I've actually never help a baby"
"How have you never held a baby"
"Well I never even had brothers or sisters and when moving foster home to foster home you don't get a chance to hold a baby"
Kaiden pick up the baby he looked like a pro"
"How are you so good"
"Well I had bit of an experience taking care of my sister when she was a baby"
I forgot Kaiden had a sister she is 13.
She always a best friend house. So I never actually seen her.

Kacey stopped crying.
"Your quite the pro" I said to him as he put her down"
"Well thank you" he said as we walked out of the room.
"So Kaiden why did you come over"
"Can't a guy just come and see his pretty girlfriend"
"Yeah but not a guy like you"
"Okay cause you didn't actually have a great birthday"
"Why don't we head out to the cabin, we always say we will so why don't we"
"I don't know Kaiden mum's just a baby I mean TWO babies I really do want to go but I don't think "go" Khloe said butting in.
"Was you easy dropping on our conversations"
"I'm your mom I can easy drop on your conversations" "Well I was saying you should go on your weekend away, you missed your birthday dinner you might as well go"
"Are you sure about this" I asked wanting to make sure"
"I'm sure, Lamar gonna be back soon we can both manage a weekend away without you"
"Right then I better get backing"
"I'll pick you up later"
He said as he walked himself out.

"I can't wait mom Kaiden and i are gonna have a great weekend"
"Your going with Kaiden"
"Yeah who else would I be going with"
"I dunno your friends"
"It's not a spa weekend it's a nice weekend at a cabin with my boyfriend"
"Your both too young" "HE broke your heart so much last time,how do you know he won't do it again"
"MOM!l "I thought you liked Kaiden I do but your my daughter I'm suppose to be worried"
"Yeah and you also suppose to trust me" I said as I walked to my bedroom.

I was so pissed at her I wanted to go on this holiday to prove her wrong that me Kaiden may have ups and downs but we will still be together.
"Right I'm off"
"Hope you have a great weekend" said Lamar.
"Karli can I talk to you before you go"
"Sure mom"
"I'm sorry for what i said I didn't mean it It was just that I didn't know you liked him that much"
"We've been going out for probably a year now, and also do you know why it's so important for us to be together this weekend"
"Why?"
"Because it was the morning of my birthday that we started dating"
"I'm so sorry honey if you had told me I won't of even bothered you at all""That's also the reason I didn't want you to go we haven't talked to each about girl stuff in a while so just thought that you didn't want your mom around anymore"
"I'm really sorry I made you feel like that of course I need my mom I will always need you"
"Well I'm always here for you"
"Thanks"
"Right then" she said as she wiped a small tear,you better be off"
"Don't worry it's just one weekend we will be back soon"
When we was at the cabin it was really cold it didn't have any service so I couldn't call my mom.
"Soo"I said as I put my bags in the bedroom.
"It's quite cold here""I'm gonna turn the fireplace on"

"Do you want roast marshmallows on the fire?" Kaiden asked.
"Sure why not"
"This might sound strange but does this feel weird to you?"
"Yeah it does we've been dating for a year yeah but it feels really strange"

After a long drive up here and roasting marshmallows on the fire Kaiden and I decided to go to bed.
In the bed Kaiden and I was getting a little bit frisky, we was all over each other. I sat on top of Kaiden and one think led to another.

I woke before Kaiden as usual and I was nervous we were both laying the naked I didn't know what to do.
After like two minutes of thinking I decided I was gonna get my dressing gown and take a shower. As I got up Kaiden woke up.
"Karli your already awake?"
"Mmm"I said trying to look for the dressing gown.
"I didn't get much sleep" he chuckled.
I found my dressing gown lucky me.
"Haha" I said as I put it on. Instead of going into the shower I crawled in to bed with Kaiden and his six pack and asked
"Are we going to talk about what happened last night"
"Yeah we should Karli"
"Just not right now " he said giving me smooch

That was a great weekend.
