There was always a lot on Cas's mind, but today there was more than the usual. It wasn't anything in particular, he always just was thinking. Right now it was in the classroom; his favorite place to think and zone out since class was always so boring and he liked an excuse not to have to listen to the people who were always whispering about him in the background.

"Hey bitch what's up?" Charlie says bringing Cas out of his daydream back to reality. Charlie was Cas's best friend, the only one that has stuck by him. She was teased as well but with her attitude she never let the haters get to her.

"Same old same old you know. Everyone is always saying things and I'm getting tired of it."

"You just have to ignore them. Don't let them mess with your vibe." Charlie says with a big smile causing Cas to have to smile back. She was always is a bundle of joy.

"I guess you're right. I just don't know how you do it." Cas says twirling his pencil around on the desk. The bell then rings indicating that homeroom has started. Before the teacher could start his lesson a boy walks into the classroom late causing everyone to stare and whisper. They weren't bad whispers, these were the whisper of swoon. This boy was beautiful. He had green eyes and dirty blonde hair and was wearing a leather jacket. His eyes though were the prettiest orbs Cas has ever stared into and he couldn't bring himself to look away. The boy caught his eye and then winked. Winked? Cas must have been imagining things so he turned away.

"Class we have a new student. Would you care to tell them your name?" The teacher gesture to the boy.

"Hey, I'm Dean Winchester." Then he smiles and that's when Cas lost it. He couldn't look up anymore.

"He's beautiful. Cas are you blushing?" Charlie looks at Cas and then her smile widens. "You are. You think he's cute. Oh my gosh Cas." She starts getting all giddy.

"Don't make it obvious. For all we know he could be like the rest if them."

"I doubt it."

The teacher tells Dean to pick a seat and just Cas's luck he sits right behind him. Charlie squeals softly so only Cas could hear and he let's his head fall to the desk with a slight thunk. After a few minutes Cas feels a poke on his back. He turns around to find that it was Dean who poked him.

"Hey pretty boy what are we learning about right now?" Cas was beginning to become captivated by his eyes. Wait pretty boy? Did Dean just call Cas pretty boy?

"Well this is history class, so history." Cas replies bluntly. He couldn't let Dean see through him. There has to be at least one person that doesn't know his secret. But with all the gossip around it will surely soon go to him.

"I know silly, I mean what part of history?"

"Oh umm it's- we are learning about the uh uh." Cas stuttered. He couldn't concentrate because those eyes were pulling him in.

"Ahem." Dean makes the sound pulling Cas back into his thoughts and rightful mind set.

"Oh sorry we are learning about the era of the 1800's."

"Sounds interesting."

"Yeah." Soon after the bell rings indicating it was time to go to our next class; the class before lunch.

"Hey Dean!" Cas hears Ruby call after Dean, the slut of the school. The girl who tries to get every hot boy and evidently succeeds.

"That's my name." Dean replies. Cas packs slowly on purpose so he can listen to the conversation.

"Well since you're new I was wondering if you needed someone to show you around and someone to sit with at lunch?" Ruby says inching closer to Dean and running her finger down the length of his arm.

"Sorry sugar but I already got my buddy over there to show me around and sit with." Dean says pointing to Cas. Cas looks up in surprise.

"You mean the gay nerd?" Ruby scoffs. If Cas had to admit the words did sting but he has heard enough of it not to be too bothered, especially from Ruby.

"Yeah him. See ya now." Dean waves at her and walks over to me. "I didn't really catch your name." Dean nudges Cas and winks.

"My name?" Cas says confused at first.

"Yeah your name; you have one right? And I'm guessing it's not gay nerd." Dean laughs, flashing that one million dollar smile.

Cas mentally face palms himself for being stupid. "Right sorry my name is Castiel but you can just call me Cas."

"Cas." Dean tries the name out, rolling it off his tongue with ease. "Nice name, unique, never heard of a name quite like that before. Well it's nice to finally officially meet you." Dean holds out his hand and Cas grabs it and shakes it. His hand is surprisingly firm and soft.

"Well I better get to class. After this class is lunch so I mean if you want to sit with me and my friend Charlie you can." Cas says nervously.

"Are you asking me on a lunch date?" Dean smirks.

"Er what?"

"I'm kidding! Of course I'll sit with you at lunch." Dean smiles and then waves at Cas walking to his next class which he so sadly didn't have with Cas.

Cas couldn't get over how green Dean's eyes are and how he wore that leather jacket. It looked good on him and it was easy to see the firmness of his muscles underneath his t-shirt. Cas didn't want to admit it but he thought he was starting to develop a little crush.

Dean's POV:

How could one have such beautiful blue eyes? Dean thought as he sat down in his next class. He just wanted lunch to come so he could get to know more about him. Dean didn't care if he was gay. Hell Dean couldn't help but want to be gay for him. Dean wasn't gay but he wasn't straight either, he was bi-sexual. He already established it last year in his junior year when he kissed a boy for the first time. It was on a dare but Dean couldn't push away the feeling he felt after that kiss. After that he just accepted the fact that he wasn't straight. Since Dean was popular everyone thought it was cute and no one would teased him, but he hated it more than ever when someone was being teased for being different. That's what made him hate Ruby for saying what she said about Cas like that. Cas was just shy and cute and nerdy and he was just a cute nerd.

"Hey new boy." Some girl from the class called. Dean turned around and looked at the girl with the curly brown hair.

"I have a name you know." Dean called back.

"Well what is it then?" She asked.

"Dean, Dean Winchester."

"Well hello Dean. I'm Meg, Meg Masters. Guess we are getting to know each other on a last name basis." She laughs. She didn't seem too bad, she kind of looked like a bad ass. Maybe she could be a friend.

"Guess so, Have any advice for this school?"

"Well this school is well of course has a variety of people. Different groups and people can be mean. I usually like to keep to myself. And well there is Cas and Charlie that everyone calls the outcast of the school because they are both gay. Of course I have no opinion. I think it's crazy how people can name you in different social class base on who you are. It's disgusting." Dean likes this girl.

"Do you know much about Cas?"

"Not much just that he's really shy and has the most beautiful blue eyes someone has ever seen. I don't know how someone can have eyes that beautiful. I have third period with him; the period after lunch but I don't talk to him much. But if he wasn't gay I'd date him."

"He does have beautiful blue eyes huh?" Dean sighs at the thought of those ocean blues eyes he could get lost in, kind of like the ocean. "You know I am sitting with him at lunch today you aught to join us."

"Sure, anything to get to know my little Clarence more."

"Clarence?"

"My little nickname for him." They both laugh, the starting of a new friendship.
