Castiel woke up to his alarm at 7am. He had one thing on his mind and that was today was Friday. No scratch that there was two. Today was Friday and he was going to see Dean. Today after school everyone was going to Meg's house to hang out and that meant more time with Dean. He didn't know dean very well but he knew it would be a start of a good friendship.
Out of no where Cas's phone rings. He picks it up to see who it was. It was an unknown caller ID.
"Hello?" Cas answers the phone reluctantly.
"Hey Cas it's Dean. Hope you don't mind but Meg gave me your number. Didn't have time to ask for it yesterday." Dean laughs through the phone.
"Really? I mean yeah of course I don't mind." Cas says trying to hide his excitement.
"Great. Well I was wondering if I could give you a ride to school today?" Dean asking to give Cas a ride? He's going to know where Cas lives. What if he says something weird while they were in the car?
"Cas?"
"Yeah? Oh umm yeah come pick me up." Cas gives Dean his address and they hang up. Cas quickly gets ready before Dean can arrive and he tries to look nicer than he usually does to impress Dean.
About thirty minutes later Cas here's a ring at the door. He runs down the stairs and before he could get to it Gabe gets it.
"Gabe I said I would get it." Cas slugs his shoulders. He knew how Gabe was.
"Well well Cas who do we have here?"
"My name is Dean, nice to meet you." Dean holds out his hand, offering a shake.
"Polite do we have here? Who's that in the car you have there Deano?" Cas looks in the car to see the boy that he met yesterday. Cas was actually surprised to see that the little boy, Sam, was Dean's brother. No wonder he looked so familiar.
"That's my little brother Sammy. Why?"
"He's a cute little fellow." Gabe chuckles and waves at him like he was a little baby. From the car I can see Sam look a little frightened as if not knowing what is going on and he looks away.
"I didn't know he was your brother. I just met him yesterday on the curb I usually stand to get picked up." Cas turns to Sam and waves at him, Sam returns the wave.
"Oh yeah little Sammy, pain in the ass but sure in the hell worth it." Dean says making Cas see in his face that he really loved his brother through it all. "Any way it was nice to meet Cas's big brother but we better get to school now." Dean says as he looks at Gabe with a look as if he really thought this was awkward. Gabe just stares back, unwrapping another one of his red lollipops.
"Bye Deano, bye Cas!" Gabe calls out as Cas waves at him before turning around back to the car.
"I know he seems a bit crazy but he really does have good intentions. He just wants to protect me like a big brother should." Cas says.
"I know the feeling all too well." Dean replies. "Sammy why not let Cas up front?"
"Okay. Hi Cas! I didn't know you knew my brother."
"Hey. I didn't know Dean was your brother." Cas chuckles. Cas gets in the passenger side of the car and buckles up as Dean starts the car.
"Alright so first I have to drop off Sam and then us."
It doesn't take long for Dean to get to Sam's school and drop him off. After Sam gets out of the car everything is quiet until Dean drives pass the school.
"Dean we just passed the school." Cas pipes up looking behind him as the school gets smaller and smaller as they pass it by.
"I know."
