ANNIE'S P.O.V
"No one can know about this ok?"
I whisper to him nervously.
He turns and puts his hands on my shoulders, stopping me.
"Look Annie. I love you. No one can ever stop me from loving you. Yeah sure maybe we don't look like we would be the perfect couple and I mean maybe we wernt supposed to be together but through all of this we still found each other."
He shakes his head at me like he doesn't think he's getting through.
He lifts our entwined hands up.
"Look at our hands. Now what do you feel?"
He questions me.
"It feels right.... Like... Like we fit."
I reply shyly.
"Exactly! He says with a big grin on his face. WE know we are perfect together it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks!"
He pauses after seeing my still nervous expression.
"But, that doesn't mean I'm going to tell anyone."
He finishes smiling at me before turning back around his hand still wrapped in mine and continuing our walk through the park.
"So when are you going to move back? I liked your guys old house much better. This ones too hard to find I get lost in the main complex of your guys apparent building."
He asks me.
"Well the point is for it to be remote so no one can find it"
I reply feeling guilty.
KAYLA'S P.O.V
"It's not true."
I sob while simultaneously glaring at Mason.
"You know it is Kayla. no one expected it not even me!"
He replies exasperated then in a softer tone,
"But it's going to be ok."
I look at him in shock and anger before i start screeching.
"NO IT'S NOT GOING TO BE FUCKING OK!
MY BEST FRIEND,
THE ONLY ANCHOR IN MY LIFE, BETRAYED ME TO A PHYCO MANIAC KILLER THAT MURDERED MY SISTER!"
I finish in tears.
Suddenly I get up and walk briskly to Annie's room.
"Kayla? What are you doing?"
Mason calls after me.
Ignoring him I start Rummaging through Annie's draws, pulling up the bed covers and basically making her room a absolute wreck while I desperately try to find some evidence of her betrayal.
"There has to be something."
I mutter to myself while yanking all the clothes out of her closet.
"Annie stop"
I hear a deep voice behind me say.
"No Mason I have to find something. Anything. It doesn't seem real she would never do this if I could just find one thing to convince myself this is actually happening......"
I trail off while I continue my desperate search.
I feel a strong arm grab my shoulder and lightly turn me around. It's Kyle.
"Kayla. Stop. This isn't helping its bad
For you and I hate to see you this way."
Kyle says.
"Why because of my ugly tear stained face?"
I hiss at him. Mainly in my anger at Annie but also because he has damaged me like no one else ever has.
He looks at me softly before replying,
"No. I hate to see you hurt. It breaks my heart."
"Really? Didn't know you had one of those."
"Well I do."
He mutters back looking at the ground with those sad puppy dog eyes.
Trying to ignore him I reach my hand back into the depths of the closet when I feel something scratch my finger.
Pulling the clothes off the hangers I chuck them behind me to get a closer look at whatever pricked me.
Its a box. There is a piece of paper sticking out the side, I bet I cut my finger on the edge of that paper.
I pull the box out and open it. Inside are piles and piles of letters my guess is maybe even a hundred.
I take one out and open it reading the familiar messy scribbled writing of Blair.
"I haven't seen you in months! We really need to meet up again I have so much to catch you up on. It's really hard to find your place! That stupid Body guard of yours hid you guys pretty well. Haha not too hard for me to find though aye babe? Couldn't of done it without you though.
Don't feel guilty though I've told you already I have changed. I haven't even had contact with another person since the.....incident. While apart from you anyway ;)
Miss you loads and can't wait to see you on Tuesday!"
After I finish reading it I rip it up in anger.
"IT'S TRUE!"
I wail before sobbing into Kyle's shoulder.
"Kayla"
He whispers into my ear.
"It's going to be ok."
And for once he gets through to me.
It's going to be ok.
