Jessica's POV
I woke up with Cameron's arms still wrapped around me. I soon realized that I needed to put on a sweatshirt to cover the scars on my wrist. I was lucky Cam didn't see them last night.
I tried to take Cameron's arms off of me without him waking up, but he woke up immediately. I quickly got out of bed and grabbed my sweatshirt from the bag my mom dropped off.
"Are you cold?" Cam asked. "Yeah." I replied.
"Then come lay back down and put the blankets on you."
"Okay." I said while getting back in the bed. "Why are you wearing your sweatshirt in bed?" He said with a little chuckle.
"I'm just really cold." I said hoping he'd believe my stupid excuse. "Oh." He replied while wrapping his arms around me again. Cam turned on the tv, and put a movie on.
"I'm gonna go use the bathroom I'll be right back."
"Okay." I said.
He got up and started walking to the bathroom, I then got up and took off my sweatshirt for a second since I was getting kind of sweaty.
Cam walked out and saw me standing there with my scarred arms. I immediately put my sweatshirt back on and tried not to start crying. Cameron walked over to me and pulled up my sleeve.
"Why did you do this?" He said trying to stop the tears that were running down his face.
"I'm so sorry Cam" I couldn't stop crying.
"Please tell me why you did this to yourself."
"I hate myself Cameron!" I yelled. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to yell." I said as I looked away and put my head in my hands.
"Why?! Why would you have any reason to hate yourself?!"
"Because I mess up everything! I messed up my parents relationship, I messed up the relationship I had with my best friend, and now I'm messing up our relationship! I ruin everything!"
"You are not messing up our relationship!
"Yes I am Cam! You just won't admit it!"
Cam grabbed me and kissed me.
I pulled away, then realized I was ruining my relationship with Cam even more by being like this. Damn, I mess everything up!
"Promise me you won't do this to yourself."
"I promise." I said while I turned my head away.
"Look me in the eyes and say you promise!"
I looked at him and screamed "I promise!"
He pulled me closer to him and hugged me.
