Kacie's P.O.V

I still couldn't believe what just happened a few hours ago. Philip kept glaring up at me while I was cooking Some burgers. I sigh when I see Philip walking away and went into the living room. I can't blame him for being mad at me.

****FLASHBACK*****
I was still in shock of what Jackson did to me. Why the hell did I react to him like that? Am I going crazy!! I mentally screamed when I suddenly felt pain pulling me out of my thoughts.

"What the he'll was that for!?!" I looked down at the culprit when I saw Philip's face. I instantly felt guilty when I saw tears streaming down his little chubby cheeks.

"I thought you left me kacie. How could you leave me by myself. You know I get scared when you or mom and dad aren't with me." He cried and I picked him up and he wrapped his little arms around my neck sobbing quietly.

"I'm so sorry Philip I didn't mean to leave you alone. Please don't cry anymore." I whispered softly while rubbing his back to comfort him. I hear his sobbing stop and hear his breathing go even. I carried his little sleeping figure back to the car and called my mom and told her I would buy the groceries tomorrow. She didn't questioned me and said to take care of my brother.

Story short when we got home Philip just got out of the car without saying anything to me and just kept ignoring me. I really screwed up this time. I finished dinner and walked to the living room spotting Philip sitting on the window bench looking at the rain outside.

I slowly walk to him and sit next to him. He didn't turned around and I felt guilty. I sigh and grabbed his arm and pulled him in my arms and wrapped my arms around his waist."I'm sorry, Philip I didn't mean to make you feel sad. Please forgive me? I don't want you to hate me sweetheart." I felt him turned and I looked down and saw him look in my eyes to see if I was lying when he saw none he put his tiny little arms and I smiled when he spoke. "I would never hate you kacie. Your my big sister and I don't want to lose you. I just felt scared that I lost you." He mumbled in my stomach.

I went on my knees and looked at his eyes and said " I would never leave you. You're my baby brother and I will always be by your side." His eyes light up and hugged me tighter.

"Come on let's go eat. I made your favorite burgers." His face light up more and went straight to the kitchen. I laughed at how cute he was being right know.
