Beep Beep Beep

I groaned annoyed while reaching to shut off my alarm. Throwing of my blankets I slowly started to get up wishing for more sleep than going to school. Wondering what to wear I decided to put on some ripped jean shorts with a black t -shirt, black convers, and lastly putting my hair in a messy bun.

" Kacie, mom said to come down or you're going to be late for school" my little brother yelled as I finally finish getting ready. I groaned knowing that my little brother has a smug face right know. I ran down stairs and head to the door as Ti texted me that she was outside already." Bye, mom. Bye, dad." I yelled as I left the house.

As I walked up to Ti's red truck I notice that Alec was looking very tense today. " You ok Alec?" I asked. He just nodded and looked outside the window. I looked at Tiana but she just kept silent and kept on driving. We finally reached the school and parked near the entrance. Alec got off first and walked away from us.

"What happened with you two?" I asked as Ti just kept looking at Alec as he walked up to his friends. "I'll tell you after school." she said. I just nodded and started to walk to class.

Ever felt like you were in between a war that you couldn't escape from. Cause that is what I am feeling right with this two right know. "Alec, can I talk to you for a minute." I said as we were heading to the library. "Sure, what is it?" he stopped walking and leaned against the lockers.

"What's going on between you and Tiana?" I asked him. Ever since we got to school Tiana and Alec been avoiding each other and it is getting me very worried. "Nothing is wrong, Kacie." he answered but I know better than to believe him. "Don't lie Al. I know when you lie and when your not."

He looked me in the eyes and knew that I wouldn't believe him. He sighed and I knew he give up. "Tiana and I got in a fight for a stupid reason." he said while I listen. " What happened? Tell me."

He hesitated before he finally told me," Well she started to tell me how Joseph always seems to know her better and how I should be like him. And I just snapped at her about how she and Joseph should be together since she always talks about him a lot. I know she was just teasing me but I just cant stand hearing her talk about another guy and-" he gasped realizing what he just told me.

I smiled at what I just heard. " Wait I-I didn't mean to say that w-what I meant to say was I-I don't like to be compared to any guy- no ughhh" he stuttered and started to get nervous. " I knew it! You like Ti don't you." I squealed as he started to blush. " And don't lie cause I know when you lie." I told him.

"Ok, ok, yes I like Tiana alright. Are you happy know." he said as he turned more red than I ever seen. " Of course I am. I always knew you liked her. Why didn't you tell me?" I asked

" Well I was just nervous you know. We been childhood friends since we were in diapers and I guess I got scared of how you would react." he nervously said. I couldn't help but mentally awe at how cute this was. " I was actually routing for you two to be together. And if you want I can help you." I smiled when I saw hope in his eyes. " Oh thank you, Kacie. Your the best friend ever!" Alec quickly hugged me and I couldn't help but laugh as he spin me around, and instantly hear an animalistic growl.

"Did you hear that?" I asked Alec. He looked at me weirdly and shook his head. "No I-I didn't hear anything" he nervously said. He cleared his throat and said," Come on or we're going to be late for class." he grabbed my hand and started to walk fast.

I couldn't help but wonder where that sound came from.
