Chapter 5

Zack summer

(Jake's pov)

We arrived at my house and noticed the moving trucks next door.

"Hey mom who's moving in" i say as i walk into the house with my friends and spot my mom in the kitchen.

"Yea i heard it was the Hunter family."

"Hhmm new neighbors that's nice"

"Yea now go upstairs and do your work and be ready by 6:00 the new neighbors are coming over for dinner" she said as she continued to do whatever she was doing.

"Ok mom love ya" me and my friends walked into my room and just sat around not even bothering to do our work.

"So what was up with Tyler earlier he kept throwing things at you" Joey asked recalling the movie.

"Yea i noticed that too what was up with him? He got really annoying."Amber said agreeing with Joey

"He's jusy being a douche cause i rejected him when he insisted on me going to the movies with him and my bro's friends."

"But why did you reject him i thought you had like a major crush on him or something." Amber said with excitement

"I used to but then he called u guys stupid and that i wouldn't die if i was away from you guys. He even tried to seduce me into it and it just got me pissed off so i said no."

"Aww Jakey you did that for us?" Amber gushed as she listened to why i rejected my crush since 7th grade.

"Yea dude you didn't have to do that for us." Joey agrees with Amber again as they hug me.

"He was being rude to my friends and if u mess with my friends you mess with me." I said to them still hugging me. We relaxed in my room for most of the day till i realized it was almost time for the neighbors to come over for dinner
