Chapter 8

Scarlett Emerald (Zack's Girlfriend)

(Jake's Pov)

"Uhhh his mom cant know he's planning to sneak out to go to a party" Joey easily lies which makes me wonder how many he's lied.

"Y-yea my mom can't know so please don't tell her" i beg Scarlett

"Ok but im telling your brothers"

"Thank you thank you."

"Hey I've been at that stage before so i know how you feel" she says jokingly

"Your the best"

I finally managed to calm down and went back downstairs for dinner

"Hey again sorry for the wait but my friends were taking forever"

"It's ok honey we just sat down"

"Oh ok where do i sir?" I say hopping its not next to the guy

"Right next to me" my brother says as i breath out with relief

"Oh right " i said as i walked over to sit next to my twin

Thank god i wasn't sitting next to the boy i don't know what i would have done. I took a look around the table and noticed the beautiful girl that i guess is Cynthia sitting next to my brother Zack.

"Hi im Jake" i greeted Cynthia gaining her attention and she instantly blushes which i found cute

"H-hi im Cynthia" she said shyly as she looked down at the table.

"Nice to meet you" i said. She so pretty

"Same to you" she said back as my mom came in with the food and set it down on the table.

Dinner went by nicely. We talked and got to know each other now my mom is thanking them for coming for dinner and we said our goodbyes as they left and me and my two friends went back upstairs.

"Well you couldn't be more awkward" Joey said giggling at my awkwardness

"Shut up i bet you would act the same way if the person the was originally in your dreams somehow found you in real life and was sitting a few seats away from you" i said back as i flopped onto my bed. "So are you guys going to sleep over or will you be leaving?" I ask noticing they aren't saying goodbye

"I want to sleepover" Amber said while she went thru her drawer to find some clothes

"Ehh why not i guess i could stay over too" Joey said as he sat in my computer chair

"Ok i guess were having a sleepover" i said as i sat up to go to my bathroom.

"Yay we'll have so much fun" Amber squealed as she found some night clothes.
