Alexander woke up from a vibrating sound. His eyes were blinded by the sunlight from Oliver’s wall made out of windows. He shifted his position, burying her face in his pillow as he ignored the noise. Once it stopped, Alexander felt himself relax, but as soon as it stopped, it started. He grunted, already feeling grumpier than usual as he stretched his arms out.

“Logan, keep your vibrator down,” he growled.

Logan didn’t do anything and the vibration never stopped. Alexander couldn’t help but to release a sigh of frustration. It was too early to wake up, but just as Oliver and Logan had been doing, he ignored it.

A pillow suddenly hit his back, waking him up.

He sat up, finding Logan glaring at him with hateful eyes. He turned his gaze to the other side, where Oliver was sleeping heavily on the floor. None of them were a morning person, but unluckily, Logan and Alexander weren’t as a heavy sleeper as Oliver was.

“That’s your phone, you douche,” Logan growled.

Alexander quickly shot up, his eyes wide as he searched for his cell. He was sure that he left his personal phone at his apartment, but his business phone was with him. He followed the vibration, which led him to the back of the television. He wondered how it got there, but quickly dismissed the thought as he reached out for it. As soon as he grabbed it passed the wires from Oliver’s TV and other videogames and stereo systems, Alexander pulled it up, reading the screen.

He realized that a huge smirk started to form on his lips as he read the screen as to who was calling him.

                Renée Stone.

It was Saturday morning, he was sure that Renée didn’t work on Saturdays. It was quite a mystery as to why she was calling him from his work number. Was she in desperate need to speak with him?

                He could only hope so.

                Suddenly, all his grumpiness disappeared.

“What are you smiling at?” Logan asked as the phone showed that he had six missed calls from Renée’s number.

The grin on his face grew bigger as his phone started to ring once again. He didn’t want to look too interested in front of his friends. He was in fact, Alexander Cross. He wasn’t the kind of guy who would be eager to get a call from a girl. Alexander Cross was the guy girls would wait by the phone for a call even though they knew that he wasn’t going to call.

“This girl from wok,” he explained with a shrug.

Logan’s brown eyes went from the vibrating phone to Alexander and back. “Well, yeah. That is your business phone,” he said, rolling his eyes as he let out a long yawn before stretching his arms up. “Aren't you going to pick it up?” There was a small pause. “Well?”
