Aliza's p.o.v.
"Why did you leave at our wedding?"
As he finished those words, my mind went blank. I was lost in everything that had happened at the moment.
"I- um. What was the question?"
"Why. Did. You. Leave. At. Our. Wedding?" He spaced out the sentence carefully.
"Erm, I. Just, don't know." I answered, mind still in a honest blank.
"You don't know?" He spat. "So you just have no clue as of why you had left me and your family at our wedding?"
"I don't know-"
"Stop saying that! You couldn't of just left with out a reason! What was the reason behind you leaving, Aliza it's a simple question stop procrastinating and just fucking answer it!" He yelled in frustration.
"I just wasn't ready!" I cried pulling at the ends of my hair.
"Then why didn't you just tell me? We could of held it off until you were ready." He lowered his voice.
"I didn't want to break your heart!"
"You've already broken my heart Aliza."
My jaw tensed as he waited for my reaction.
"You've got nothing to say huh? What did you actually think I wouldn't be heart broken? You thought I'd get over this like it was some sort of fling? I had asked you to marry me. It wasn't a demand. I loved you Aliza, and I could of waited. It didn't have to be this way, you chose this. Not me." He spoke with his head down as he began walking back to the toy store waving me off one last time.
"I'd say goodbye, but you'd probably leave anyway."
"We'll good riddance to you too!" I yelled before getting in the car.
"How fucking dare he integrate me. I did nothing. It was five years ago, he has Danielle. Why the hell can't he just move on." I though as I just denied more and more, I just couldn't admit it to myself as I was simply tongue tied over three words. But they were used so often, I didn't believe it. I'll just keep telling myself that, until Ill finally have to face the tragic truth, that I may still love him. Just a little.
