Throwing myself into me

Key rings never did look good on my school bag,
Nor did the frown on my face.

There's currently a pimple at the tip of my nose,
Purple, swelling confidence.

My nails are bitten all in credit to a habit most hated,
There's big bold SHAME written on my forehead.

The speakers on my earphones have lost the rubber coverage,
But my voice does not need to be plugged in.

The water bottle in my room always ends up under my bed and makes it feel as though it tastes of dust,
I'm currently boiling a clearer mindset.

My bedroom curtains are not drawn shut during daylight hours,
Natural light compliments
my angular face.

I use headphones now,
They don't break and don't need adjusting every six seconds.

The sound quality is better;
clearer, enjoyable.

They're a bit bulky,
But that doesn't really matter.

They're my kind of design,

and I like them.
