~~ KD's POV ~~

Abby, Connor and I reached Rina's side and simply stood with her, staring at the light, not completely able to believe it.

Abby looked at us and held a hand out to Rina and Connor.

"Shall we?" She whispered with a smile.

Rina and Connor grabbed her hands as Rina also turned to offer me her other hand. We gripped fists, happy in the knowledge home is just a few feet away, and stepped forward together to go home.

But it wasn't meant to be.

The exact moment we took a step, the Spinosaurus appeared right in front of the anomaly.

Immediately, Leon rushed forward to stand between the Spinosaurus and Rina, Loo and Aqua deciding to spread their efforts and protect Abby, Connor and I. Rina stepped forward and placed her hand at the top of Leon's tail before speaking over her shoulder to us.

"I'm going to distract it, you guys go through."

"No way am I leaving you here Rina, it isn't happening." I shook my head rapidly as I stared at her.

"You guys elected me leader here, now follow my orders." She glared over her shoulder. "I have a plan, obviously, so don't think I won't be joining you. I have someone I need to see too, remember?"

Her eyes locked with mine, a million messages passing through our twin bond. I nodded slightly, seeing the confidence she had in her own plan, knowing, as her partner in crime, that I could trust her to come back through to us.

The Spinosaurus roared, breaking our contact. Rina stepped forward to Leon, her hand gliding up his back so he understood what she was going to do.

"Raptorteers." She hissed lightly, causing Loo and Aqua to close in on either side of their alpha. "When I say run, run as fast as you can and don't look back no matter what. Understood?" She spoke to us as they closed in.

Connor, Abby and I shared a look, all hesitant about leaving one of us behind. We're in this together, that's one thing we've always agreed on. I nodded at them lightly.

"Understood." We chorused quietly together.

She nodded happily.

"Leon."

In response to her call, the near 7 foot raptor wove his tail between her legs, curling it around her as she climbed up his back. His tail curled up, in a raptors natural stance, and she settled her feet backwards and at the bottom of his tail. Her arms wrapped around him and held onto his clawed hands. Strangely, it looked like she was riding a motorbike. A very large, live, motorbike that wouldn't hesitate to eat you at her command.

And yes, she does have a command for that, let's not get onto how she trained it.

The Spinosaurus immediately recognised the raptor trio as a threat and zeroed in on them, growling in the back of it's throat. It was an amazingly terrifying sight as a full grown Spinosaurus is actually larger than a T-Rex. In fact, if the two types of dinosaur fought, I have no clue which would come out on top.
