He was gone, she had
To accept that, she had to say
Good-bye. She couldn't bring
Herself to say those words.
This was months after
He had passed and she
couldn't cope, sleep became
Her best friend she couldn't,
Eat. Her hands were shaking
Her body was weak, her lungs
Tired, her mind shot. She grabbed
What she needed.
She took a deep breath laying on
The couch *this is it* she thought
Staring at her scars thinking about
The beauty she found in her arms
Running red. She was at the point
Where no matter how hard she tried
She couldn't find meaning, a reason
To hang on
Her arms drop to her
Sides and she lets the
Bottle fall to the floor
Cause now the damage is done.
She's fading her body is
Digesting the pills,
Her stomach is tearing apart
She hears the door shut....
Her eyes closing mind
And body slipping her mom
Walks into the room yelling
For her to come back.
She can hear you but she
Cant respond. Her brain isn't
There and everything goes dark
She finally thinks she can rest.
But what's this? She opens her
Eyes...She's miserable. Alive?
For what? Another miserable day?
That's when it happens...
*PUMP* The pills are out,
*PUMP* Tears run down
Her cheeks *PUMP* Stop,
It's hard to breath.
She lays back. The nightmare
Is over.. Or so they think.
Her stomach is empty, Dialasis
pumping through her veins.
She will never be the same.
Her mom screams, "WHY!!"
She looks to her tears in her eyes,
She says three words "TO STOP PAIN"
