I just stare at the ceiling all night long. I hear my stomach give out a little rumble, but I ignore it like always. I don't want to eat.
"Koda, koda-" my little sister Kelly walks in my room, then screams when she sees the bloody scars on my arm, which causes me to look at her. "Mommy, mommy!"
Kelly runs out the room. "Mommy, Koda is hurt!" I sighed. It wouldn't have been the first time I've been caught.
Mom walks in and she gasps. "Koda, I thought you quit this!" I saw tears run down her face. I didn't mean to worry her. Father walks in a second later and glares at me.
"Where is your knife?" He demands. I shrug. I wasn't about to tell him.
"Koda, maybe you should get help!" Mom suggests. Father looks at her, before looking back at her.
"There is this support group at the hospital starting tomorrow. You're going" father ordered. I knew better than to talk back, so I just nodded.
In a few hours, the alarm clock went off for school to start. I got ready and left the house in time as the bus arrived. I sat in my usual spot and closed my eyes.
"Hey Koda" I opened my eyes a few minutes later to see Caine smiling at me. I smiled back as he sat down.
"Hey Caine" I replied. We sat in silence until we arrived at school.
I went to my locker when Matthew spun me around and pinned me against the locker.
"You're a pathetic excuse for a human being" he growled. Despite being pinned to my locker, I crossed my arms over my chest and gave him a snarky smile.
"Really? I don't see me going around bullying others for no reason" Oh, I can just taste sarcasm.
"You really don't understand what situation you're in!" He yelled. Before I knew it, I got shoved into my own locker. I heard him walk away angrily. Talk about anger issues! So rude!
Having nothing better to do, I tried to make myself comfortable and began singing softly. I drifted off to sleep.
"Are you going to give me what I want now?" Joey asked. I backed up against a wall.
"N-No! You can't!" I was as far against the wall as I could go. My eyes were red and puffy from crying.
"I can do whatever I want" he said, and began unzipping my pants. I struggled, but he held me firmly against the wall.
"No! Stop!" I pleaded. I hated being weaker than him.
"Stop!" I shouted. I awoke, suddenly panting heavily. Then I remembered I was stuck in a locker. I sniffled. I had been crying.
"Is anyone there?" It was Ryan. I quickly wiped my eyes with my sleeves.
"R-Ryan?" I asked.
"What are you doing in a locker?" He was surprised, "nevermind that, what is your lock combination?" I gave it to him through shaky breaths.
He opened the door and I fell out, falling into his arms. It made a light blush tint my cheeks as he steadied me.
"Are you okay?" He was genuinely concerned. I gave him a slight smile.
"Yeah, I'm fine" I lied.
"How long have you been in there?" Ryan asked.
"Um since I got off the bus" I replied.
"School already ended five minutes ago" he sighed, "I walk home after school."
"I do too" I replied.
Suddenly, I felt a little lightheaded and dizzy. Before I knew it, I drifted off into a dreamless sleep.
When I awoke again, I was in a strange room on a strange bed.
I saw a plate with a sandwich and a cup of water placed next to it.
"You're awake" Ryan smiled.
"I'm sorry to trouble you" I mumbled.
"Are you hungry? There's a sandwich there" Ryan replied.
"I'm not hungry" I stated.
"You just fainted, I'm sure all that energy is gone" he frowned, "when did you last eat?"
"Um, I-"
He gave me a stern look. "The truth, please."
I sighed. "Two weeks ago."
"Well then eat" he said.
"But I'm not-"
Ryan tackled me and I blushed several shades of red seeing as he was on top of me. He grabbed the sandwich and tried to shove it in my mouth, but I wouldn't open.
"Eat it before I strangle you!" He demanded. I frowned. I squirmed, still trying to fight it. I heard a slight gasp before his facial expression turned to an sadistic grin.
I was caught off guard for a second with the change of expression. I gasped when he pressed his lips to mine.
"What-" I opened my mouth to speak, and he used that exact excuse to shove the sandwich in my mouth.
"It was the only way to get you to eat" he said, proud of himself. Yeah, you should feel accomplished, Ryan. You're an evil man.
Now holding onto my sandwich, I finished chewing the bite I was forced to take. Of course, Caine chose that exact moment to walk in.
"Uh, am I interrupting something?" He asked.
"Nope! I was just forcing him to eat" Ryan replied.
I shoved Ryan off of me, making him fall onto the floor with a loud thud, and I gave Caine a pouty puppy dog look. "He kissed me to make me eat! What an evil trick!"
"Like this?" Before I knew it, Caine lightly pressed his lips to mine before pulling away. What was that. I was so shocked that I didn't notice Caine put the sandwich in my mouth. I glared.
"Evil Men" I sighed, but finished my sandwich anyways.
"You know you love us" Ryan smiled, still down on the floor looking as comfortable as ever.
"Planning on getting up?" I asked.
"Nah, it's quite comfortable down here" he replied. I went to move so I was beside Caine, but I tripped and fell directly on top of Ryan.
"I'm sorry!" I mumbled. He smiled and reassured me that it was fine. Then I remembered, I was being forced to go to that support group today. "I got to go." I was reluctant to leave.
"Alright, I will see you later" they said.
