Game Over? (Pt.2)

It started raining,we were really close to the dorm.
Childishly, Kai ran ahead of me,holding his hoodie over his head.
I didn't run with him,if anything,I walked slower.
He stopped and he ran back to me.
"Hey,you're gonna catch a cold!"
He held his hoodie over both of us.And while we walked,he gave me these puppy eyes,that probably said something along the lines of,'No thank you?'.
What a puppy.
I sighed."Thank you,Kai,"
I stuck my tongue out stubbornly.
He smiled and we continued walking.
He pinched my cheek,"Aigo,you're so cute."
We got to the dorm,he opened the door and I walked inside.
His two dogs ran towards me and pounced on me.
How cute.They look just like Kai.
The other members greeted me,they know about us,and they promised to keep it a secret.

Kai bought me to his room.
D.O. Was playing Call Of Duty.
"Hey hyung,it's OUR console,can we have a go?"
Without saying anything,D.O. dropped the controller and exited the room.
Kai shut the door,but I was still able to hear the voices of the other members teasing us.
He smiled,I'm not sure if it was because of the teasing,or he's just smiling.
"Player one or two?Which map would you like to play?Survival or campaign?"
"Player 2.Ressistence.Campaign." I replied.
Before,my knowledge of video games wasn't really good,but since I started seeing Kai,I've become a huge gamer.

The both of us played for 2 hours.But I couldn't really concentrate on the game.What happened at the studio,I couldn't get out of my head.
Kai finally died in the game.That idiot.I was bleeding out and he didn't even revive me.
He turned the console off.

"How about you stay the night?
It's really late now."
I needed time to myself.
I kept asking myself questions.
'Does he trust you?'
'Does he love you?'
"Is something wrong?"
He asked.
I couldn't look at him.
"K-Kai?"
"Yea?"
He looked at me,his eyes grew wide,I could tell he was scared,but I was gonna do it anyway.

"We...-"

I felt him grip my hand,so I paused.
Tears started rolling down my cheeks.

"We need a break."

He let go of my hand.
His mouth slightly opened.
He stopped looking at me.
His voice went a little deeper than usual,
"B-but-"
"I just need to be alone for a while-I need to think,okay?.And both of us,like all couples,w-we need some time apart,right?"
He watched me,with a shocked expression as I stood up and opened the door.
"Why?I know that we only see each other twice a week,but we can change that."
My tears still continued to fall.
"Look Kai,I'm sorry but it just feels like we're drifting apart."
I glanced at him,he was crying.
Before leaving the room,I gave him a hug.
I had to make sure he was okay with this.
"I'm not breaking up with you okay?"
He hugged me back,and he stopped crying a little bit.
"Just promise me that you'll come back."
"I will."I replied.

But to be honest,I wasn't sure if I was going to keep that promise or not.
I separated from our hug.
"Goodbye,for now."
Kai waved at me slowly,but he didn't look at me.
I left the room,and slowly closed the door.
Inside,I felt relieved,but at the same time,guilty.
I passed the other members,who were all sleeping in their living room.The puppies were with Sehun.
It's very much like me to take a picture of that,but I wasn't really in the mood.
Quietly,I exited the dorm,and I walked home.
It was half past 3 in the morning,
it was cold,
it was dark,
I was still crying a little,
but at least I got that of my chest.
