So-Called Love

Chapter 14, Shopping!

After I made my way home, the phone rang, as I answered it.

~ Phone Call ~

"Hello? This is Courtney.",I spoke.

"Courtney! Want to go shopping?! There's only 2 more days until the dance!",The person on the other line was Krissa.

"Why not? It would help me calm.",I answered her question.

"Woo! Meet me in the mall, at.....4:30 P.M",She squealed and hung up.

I looked at my watch as it was 4:10PM, I have only 20 minutes to prepare, so I ran up to my bedroom and picked what I wanted to wear.

I chose this red long-sleeved shirt with words on the center saying 'Beauty', ripped skinny jeans and a pair of wedges.

I tied up my hair into a ponytail, using a red schrunchie (I dunno how to spell that, so ah well!)

I added a dash of lip gloss and eyeliner, then finally left.

I checked my watch once more and saw it was 4:28PM.

I only have 2 minuted to get there! So, I took my bicycle I got from my parents and cycled up to the mall.

I finally arrived and I was a minute late, so I went to the mall fountain and saw Krissa standing there.

I quickly ran up to her waving my hand as she waved back.

"Hey! So let's start with the shop on the second floor, I think the shop French Sweetheart'? Or was it, 'French Kiss'? Bah! Never mind! Let's just go!",She took my hand and led me to the escalator, and to the shop that has beautiful dresses by the window!

As she removed her grip from my wrist I was finally free to roam the shop, and search for the perfect dress.

I searched through the racks and found only three dresses that made me stood there, wanting to buy.

I took all three dresses to the dressing room and tried one of them on.

The first one is a light blue dress, with a lace flowing down, it had a matching necklace, a headband and cute stilettos!

The second dress is a red dress, it has a black strip going around the bottom of the dress, kind of like a goth would wear.

And the third one is a pink dress, it looked like what an american sweetheart would wear. It doesn't have the strap thingies like the other dresses, and it has a slightly darker pink lace going around the waist part and down to the knee.

I called Krissa and told her about the three dresses and we both couldn't decide which one I'm going to wear.

So I had called up Dawn. Using my phone of course! She told us she prefers the Sweetheart dress.

So I decided to get the dress for only, 120$! Jeez! I only had like 300$ left.

After we have chosen our dresses, we went to some kind of shoe store, its name was, 'Laced up Beauty'.

Krissa chose a pair of red high heels to go with her red dress with a matching bow.

As I chose light pink peep toe shoes, to go with the Sweetheart dress.

Which cost me 125$ Which leaves me....I don't know anymore.
