We can see

TheGoldenDragoness said I should put all my poetic stuff into a book...so here it goes.

We Can See

The meaning of true love,
We didn't understand,
Our heads were in the clouds,
But now we're on the sand,
We were once blind,
Loving without sight,
We were in the dark,
But now we see light,
We were old,
And now we're new
We worked too hard,
We split in two,
We were shattered,
Ripped apart,
We did not love,
With our hearts,
We do not connect,
Never meant to be,
But it opened our eyes,
We can finally see.
