Silence

When I bring forth this bloody violence,

The sensation fills me with this silence,

A peace that calms my entire mind,

Whilst blood flies and bones grind,

Their cries and screams are a soothing song,

A requiem that doesn't last long,

They gargle from blood; not able to speak,

They collapse to the ground; frail and weak,

They stare at the sky with wide eyes,

Their lips parted with their silent cries,

I sink my talons into their skull,

They gargle some more as their eyes go dull,

They breathe no more; nothing to hear,

My mouth turns to a grin; ear to ear,

The calm and peace that came from violence,

Now turned to an unholy silence.
