Old Friends or Threats?

Serena's pov:

     Tyler got up and started dressing himself "what's wrong ty? " I asked he looked at me sympathetically "sorry angel. Casey called they're rogues on our territory claiming they..." he trailed off what was he hiding? "they what Tyler? " he closed his eyes and clenched his fists what? "they're claiming to know you."  I can tell it bugged him, I got up and dressed myself. I grabbed his hand and squeezed "let's go. " He looked up at me and smiled. With that we walked to the pack house.

At the house....

      We walked in and everyone's heads turned us and bowed. But what shocked me the most was the 3 people standing in the middle of the room " Caroline? Austin? Levine?" I asked in a whisper their faces brightened "oh my gosh!" I immediately sprinted to them. They encircled me in their group hug. We could have stayed like that but Tyler cleared his throat and I let go. He told the pack to go back to their activities, and quickly it was just us six.
        Tyler wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me to him. "Tyler this is Levine, Austin, and Caroline. They were my best friends until they relocated somewhere." he shook their hands but was still reluctant about them. "Guys this my mate Tyler." I hoped they wouldn't start a rampage mostly because they knew who Tyler was and what he did to me.
         As I expected their eyes bulged out of their sockets I shot them a look not to say anything. Things became awkward quickly no one knew what to say. "what brought you guys back?" I asked the curiosity getting the best of me. "you we wanted to see you." they said at the same time I knew they were lying partially. they only do that when they lie. "you guys are lying. Why are you here?" my eyes narrowed they looked frantically at each other. I got frustrated "Tell me what the hell you you're hiding or else I'll tell Levine what happened in the woods on my birthday. " I threatened his eyes widened he knew we'd Levine found out he'd never be able to live it down. "We're here to protect you from the darkness. " he blurted the girls glared at him "You idiot." Caroline spat "What darkness and why do I need protection?" I asked intrigued Caroline sighed "The darkness is what killed your parents. We were sent by you uncle Alpha of the Richmond pack." Caroline explained my eyes started tearing "N-no my parents died In a car crash." I sobbed they shook their heads and started explaining.
         " You guys were eight and your parents were leaders of the pack. They had been called off because of some terror attack on the south side of the pack land. It was the darkness. A creature that could transform into any animal. It was unbeatable and your parents tried to kill it. It was to powerful and they knew it." It couldn't be. Casey barged In then. "alpha there's a letter and a box addressed to you from someone named Susan." I saw his eyes widen they were filled with hope and disbelief.
