Chapter 3: Battle Tournament Arc! The Clown Case!

Arron walked into the big building and saw a huge arena with screaming fans everywhere. "Wow, with this many fans, there must be a lot of competitors. Well, we'll see!", Arron said as he continued walking. Girls were already eyeballing him and squealing even thought he JUST walked in 20 seconds ago. The officials are pointing him to the locker rooms where all the competitors are. Arron walked in and saw a bunch of competitors, boys and girls and men and women, big and small, muscular and scrawny. There was one bald guy in a ninja outfit who used two kunais, there was a a brown hair, slender, good-looking woman in a dark red dress, with reddish-tint eyes and she used needles as a weapon, and there was a blonde little boy with normal kid clothes, also with snot running down his nose and he used a cool looking hammer and there was like 200 more contestants. "Wow! This is crazy, are we even allowed to use weapons?", Arron said, while looking around the room. "Yeah weapons are allowed! That's why I have my trusty chain and mace!", one muscular tall guy said while he swung around his chain and mace with spikes on it, which spooked Arron. "Heheh thanks.", Arron said with a thumbs up as he slowly moved away to go look for a seat. He ended up sitting next to a girl with a dark purple skirt, glasses, and black hair. She was looking down at the ground like something horrible happened to her. Arron looked towards her and smiled. "May the best fighter win!", Arron said while sticking his hand out towards her, with a smile. The girl looked at his hand but didn't shake it and said "Thanks." Then she sighed and looked back down. Arron's smile faded and turned his head to the front to not cause awkwardness. The fat man with the top hat came to the locker room and announced to the competitors. "Alright, you all! I hope you are ready to fight for the 13,000 Ren prize! And also the glory and respect of others!", the top hat guy said, as he eyeballed specifically in the direction of that glasses girl. The girl's face suddenly lit up and she looked forward and got at attention real sudden like. Arron was a little curious of why the sudden act but was mostly focused on the tournament. "But just remember everyone, this is a 3 day tournament so we'll have a few rounds since there is so many competitors! And then will stop for now and go again the next day!" The top hat guy said. The crowd was cheering really loud while the top hat guy was in the ring and he grabbed a microphone and shouted. "ARE YOU ALL READY TO GET THIS TOURNAMENT GOING?!". Everyone was cheering loud and you could also hear some air horns and pom poms going up in the air from fangirls. Arron and the other fighters were lined up in the locker room, ready to come out. And then the top hat guy introduced the first two opponents and they came out, it was that bald ninja dude and the muscular guy with the chain and mace. So those two got into the ring. The winner is the one who knocks the other out obviously. The top hat guy rang the bell and the two started fighting. The muscular guy had the advantage at first smacking him around with the chain but the ninja dude was blocking it and then later in the match, the ninja used some kind of move that made him move faster and hit harder and so he jumped up and blocked the chain and mace with his kunai and he gave him a swift strong kick to the head, knocking him out cold to the ground. DING DING DING! The ninja guy won. The crowd was cheering and screaming. Next in the match was that glasses girl and some fat kid, who was eating something. "Hey, it's that glasses girl.", Arron said. "NOW WE HAVE THIS SWEET GIRL, NANDA AND THIS BIG GUY, ZELVO! BEGIN!", the top hat guy announced, getting out of the ring. "I'll defeat you, girl!", Zelvo replied, as he was finishing up a sandwich. Arron was sitting on the sideline benches watching because that's where the competitors went after the first match began. "Let's go Nanda! You can do it!", Arron shouted. Nanda turned her head a little and saw Arron up on the bench cheering. "Oh. It's that guy from earlier.", Nanda turned back around and began walking towards Zelvo. Zelvo quickly straightened up and got into fighting position. "You can't defeat me!", Zelvo started swinging his arms around. Nanda slowly moved her arm up at Zelvo and silently said "Mellow Resonance." Then a quick silent ripple flew across the ring towards Zelvo and blasted him back into a wall, destroying it and knocking him out. The top hat man smiled mischievously and rang the bell. DING DING DING! "NANDA IS THE WINNER! CONGRATS!", The top hat man said in the microphone while he raised her hand. "What the hell....was that.", Arron made a shocked face and so were the other opponents. So the crowed cheered on and there were many more fights and the 1st day of the tournament ended but Arron didn't get to fight today but he was scheduled to fight tomorrow. So everyone was leaving and crowding the other fighters of which some were family members. Arron was looking for Nanda to congratulate her and saw her at the entrance and leaving. So he yelled her name and tried maneuvering through the pool of people to get to the door. "Damn it people, move!!", Arron finally made it out and went out the door and saw her down the sidewalk with the fat top hat guy but could just barely see her because it was dark. "Nanda, wait up!", Arron said, running down the sidewalk. Nanda and the top hat man walked into an alley. So Arron sped up and ran into the alley and saw nobody there. "Huh? Where did she go? I swore I saw her go in this alley.", Arron started getting suspicious and then realized it was 10:36pm and he was suppose to meet up with Drexel at 8pm. "Holy shit! I gotta go see Drexel!", Arron shouted as he started running across the roads to get to the science lab where Drexel was. Meanwhile, with Nanda and the fat top hat man,who disappear into a little warehouse/home. "Heheh..... Good job little Nanda. You made me a lot of money tonight, I know you will do even better tomorrow night! ", the top hat man said as he was playing with his cash. "Thank you Clay---I mean, Father.. But I don't want to do this anymore. I don't like hurting people.", Nanda said with her everyday depressed face. Clay faded his smile and walked towards Nanda with a electric charge coming out his hand. "Did I ask you what you wanted to do? I don't think I did. AND don't call me by my first name again either.". "I'm sorry father....I won't be out of line again", Nanda bowed on her knees. "It was already bad enough that I had to kill your parents. So don't make me kill you. And you can't hurt me with your Mellow Resonance ability because I have a power to defend against it.", Clay said as he took off the realistic mask he was wearing and had a clown-like face and he smiled and had a clown like laugh. Meanwhile, back with Arron. "Almost there!", Arron was dashing and finally made it to the lab and also tripped over a rock and fellow his face in front of Drexel. Arron looked up and grinned. "I'm here!", Arron said. Drexel looked down at him for a good minute and then started squishing his face in the ground with his foot and Arron was wigging around, muffling. "Where the hell have you been!!? I was waiting 2 and a half hours for your ass!!", Drexel shouted. "Hey! Cut it out!! MMFMFMFMFMMM!", Arron muffled more until he finally could get up and rub the back of his head. "Geez! Chill! I was out having fun!", Arron argued back and they both started throwing insults at each other while Boone, who was behind them, was laughing......and back at the warehouse, Nanda was sitting a corner at night in darkness and she started thinking of how nice Arron was to her..... she slowly smiled..........
