It was quiet in the car for the most part. Cas wasn't speaking and neither was Dean. The only noise in the car was a rattling coming from the front of the car somewhere. Cas suddenly yelped in pain, causing Dean to jump and swerve the car a bit. Castiel hunched over in pain, grabbing onto his sides even though that's not what was hurting.
"What?" Dean asked, concerning spilling out in his voice. Cas shook his head and sat up.
"That was odd. I-" he was cut off again by another shock of pain."M-my wings. They hurt." Castiel said, tears brimming his eyes.
"My house is nearby." Dean said and looked over at Cas for a moment. Castiel nodded.
"Please. I need to stretch them out." Castiel said, wincing a little bit. Dean started going a different way than where he was going originally. Dean looked over at Cas worried. Castiel was hunched over in pain again so Dean sped up a little.
They arrived at Deans house shortly but by then Cas didn't have the power in him to walk. He was leaned back in his chair, his head leaned back and his eyes opened lazily. He mumbled something about not being able to walk. Dean sighed and got out of the car, walking over to the passengers side of the car. He opened the door and leaned down and picked up Castiel. He struggled for a moment but eventually held Cas up.
Dean walked towards his house, Castiel's legs being help up by Deans arm and Cas' face buried in Deans shoulder. Castiel was holding onto Dean back like his life depended on it. For all he could know, this pain in his wings could mean he was dying. At least I'd die with Dean. What? No. Shut up Castiel. Dean unlocked the house and walked inside, Castiel still clinging onto him.
Dean began going upstairs to his room. He walked into it and was about to lie Cas down onto the bed but Cas wouldn't let go. Dean sat down on the bed and Castiel wrapped his legs around Dean.
"It hurts Dean." Cas said, his voice shaking a bit. Dean sighed and took one of his hands of Cas' back and looked at his hand. It was red. Castiel's wings were bleeding.
"Cas, take off your shirt." He knew Cas was going to argue "Just, do it please. Or let me do it." Castiel nodded and mumbled an 'okay'. Dean put his hands up Cas' shirt and tugged it off, throwing it on the ground. Castiel whimpered and pulled Dean closer to him as he spread his wings out.
"Dean..." Cas whimpered again. "It hurts really bad. Make it stop." Castiel's wings subconsciously wrapped around himself and Dean, mumbling something in enochian.
"I wish I could, angel." Dean said, petting Cas' hair softly. "What did you say?"
Cas thought back. Oh he said that. Shit.
"It was enochian. I, uh, I said 'don't let go'." He said and felt himself blush. Dean smiled and wrapped his arms around Cas again. Castiel rested his head on Deans shoulder, his eyes slowly shutting.
"Can we sleep Dean?" Cas asked tiredly, his eyes still closed. Dean nodded and laid down with Castiel on top of him. Cas' wings had stopped bleeding but they were still aching. His wings draped across the two of them and the rest of the bed. Castiel mumbled a 'goodnight' and quickly fell asleep.Dean kissed the top of Cas' hair, saying a 'goodnight' to Castiel and falling asleep as well.
