i haven't even read this over so there might be some mistakes in it but oops
Castiel threw himself down on the couch the second him and Dean got back.
"Deaaaaan!" Cas whined and looked at Dean. Dean rolled his eyes and set everything they got from the store on the table.
"What Cas?"
"Can we get a cat?" He asked and sat up. Dean laughed and leaned against the doorway into the living room.
"I'm allergic to cats." Dean said and Cas stuck out his bottom lip. Dean laughed lightly and sat next to Cas, setting a hand on his leg. "But if it wasn't for that then, yeah totally."
Cas nodded "Can we go on a date Dean. You keep holding my hand and I always want to kiss you and that's what happens when people date. Including what happened last night and you told that little boy we were dating. So are we dating?"
Dean blushed lightly when he remembered what happened last night. Cas was right. They did a lot of things couples did.
"I -"
He was interrupted by a flutter of wings that Cas recognized all too well.
"Castiel!"
Both of the boys looked up and saw a man. Dean didn't know who it was but Cas was already mentally shooting himself.
"Hello Uriel." Cas said and stood up, looking quite angry. "What a pleasure." He said, biting his tongue.
"Come on Castiel. Don't be so bitter. I'm your brother." Uriel said as he looked around.
Dean stood up but Castiel pushed Dean behind him.
"What are you doing here?" Castiel asked while making sure Dean stayed behind him.
"Well Castiel, it's almost your birthday. You'll be eighteen if I'm not mistaken. You know what happens after that."
Castiel was fully aware of what was supposed to happen.
"I don't want to do that. I know I have a choice."
"You're an angel Castiel. You're coming home one way or another."
Cas scoffed and shook his head "That's not my home."
Uriel laughed "And what is your home? Here? With this human who probably doesn't give a damn about you."
Cas felt Dean step forward a bit but he just pushed him back.
"Shut up, Uriel. I'm not going."
"You must have some guts to say that. You're going to come home and be trained. You're never going to see this filthy little human again and that's that Castiel." Uriel said angrily and stepped towards Cas.
"Dean cares more about me than you dicks ever have. Even Michael stopped caring about me and Anna at some point! He got her killed!"
Uriel got closer to Cas and picked him up by the collar of his shirt.
"That was not Michaels fault! How dare you blame him! He already makes a better angel than you do! You don't even deserve to be one!"
"You know what Uriel? You and every angel in heaven can kiss my ass!" He ripped himself away from Uriel "And you can fucking tell them I said that, you dick!"
With that Uriel was gone and left a very pissed off Castiel there. To make matters worse. He was alone.
Uriel had taken Dean with him.
"Dammit Uriel!" Castiel shouted, knowing he could hear him. "Uriel! You son of a bitch! Bring him back! Bring Dean back!"
Another flutter of wings
"As you wish."
Castiel spun around and saw Uriel drop a cut up and bloody Dean. Dean was clutching onto his side in pain, coughing up blood. His face was cut up as well his shirt.
Castiel stepped forward.
"Ah! You do anything and Dean here will be coughing up his lungs." Uriel said and Dean coughed again, blood splattering over the floor.
"Fine I'll go! Just- just leave him alone!"
Uriel smiled "Good. See you then Castiel." He said and was gone.
Cas ran to Dean and kneeled down next to him.
"Dean! Dean!" He shouted, lifting up Dean and placing his head in his lap. He ran a hand through Dean's hair to get it out of the way. Cas wiped the blood away from Deans mouth.
Dean opened his eyes and looked up at Cas. He gave him a painful smile.
"Hiya Cas."
Castiel chuckled lightly and shook his head.
"You could've died and that's what you say?"
"Come here. I want to tell you something." Dean said and Cas leaned down a bit. Dean leaned up a bit and kissed Cas gently. Before he got to kiss back, Dean bulled back and laid his head back in Castiels lap.
"I'm going to be leaving soon Dean. That's what Uriel was going on about. He's taking me to heaven when I turn eighteen. It's a stupid angel thing. M-my birthday is next week."
Dean brought his hand up and placed it on Castiels cheek. Cas sighed and leaned into the touch a bit.
"Why'd you agree to go Cas?"
"He was going to continue to hurt you if I didn't."
Dean nodded sadly
"So what happens?"
Cas sighed and looked away from Dean.
"The day I turn eighteen, I'll be taken up to heaven and...trained. Basically, I'll be becoming an actual, full fledged angel. So far all I have is my wings but I'll be taught how to do certain things and shit that's difficult to explain."
"How long?"
"For me it will seem as if it was nothing. For you..." Castiel sighed and looked down at Dean. He ran a hand through Deans hair again. "it will be years. A decade if I remember correctly."
Dean closed his eyes and nodded.
"Okay. I'll wait for you then. I except to see you after those ten years." Dean said and opened his eyes.
"Okay. I will look different Dean. I will have aged, like you will. I will technically be an adult as will you too."
Dean chuckled lightly "I'll only be twenty-seven Cas."
Castiel smiled "I'll hope you age well."
Dean rolled his eyes and swatted at Cas' chest lightly "Shut up."
Castiel leaned down and kissed Deans forehead lightly. "I need to get you cleaned and bandaged. Come on." He put a hand under Deans back and another under his legs and lifted him up.
He walked them both to the spare room and laid Dean down on the bed. Cas left and went into the bathroom and found anything he could use to fix up Dean. He hurried back into the room.
"How are you feeling?" He asked and set everything down on the bed.
"If you come here and give me another kiss I'll manage." Dean said and smiled slightly. Cas rolled his eyes and kissed Dean quickly and then grabbed a towel and put some water on it.
"Tell me if this hurts." Cas said and wiped at the cut on Deans lip. Dean inhaled sharply but didn't say anything so Castiel kept going.
After a few minutes, Cas had cleaned all the blood off of Deans face. He had Dean sat up and his shirt lifted so he could wrap a bandage around his bruised ribs.
"There." Cas said and and put everything back in the bathroom where he found it. By the time he had gotten back into the room, Dean was lying down, half asleep. Castiel just switched off the light and climbed in next to Dean.
