"Hello and welcome back to the show. I'm sitting here today across from the beautiful and talented ladies of Le Sserafim!"
As the camera moved to show the girls, they all waved and showed off their beautiful smiles.
"How are you all doing today?"
"Good! How about you?" Chaewon asked and the interviewer replied with the same answer.
"You're about to drop a brand new album and embark on a huge tour, which is selling out fast. Are you excited?"
"So excited!" Eunchae answered.
"Just yesterday a preview was released on your YouTube channel with a few seconds of each song and they all sound amazing. Do you have a favorite song on the album?"
"I'm not sure if I can pick a favorite. I love the entire album so much." Sakura said. "Picking a favorite just doesn't seem possible right now."
"I can't decide either. But I love ballads and I love romantic songs so I have to say that one's my favorite." Kazuha responded.
Chaewon turned to look at Yunjin.
"Yunjin will probably say the same and she actually wrote that one. She wrote it about her girlfriend!" She cheerfully said, expecting the interviewer to react the same way.
But when the girls looked at her, they caught her rolling her eyes.
"Is something wrong?" Eunchae asked.
"No." She said before letting out a sigh, almost as though she was annoyed. "Let's just go to the next question, shall we?"
"Do you have a problem?"
Yunjin couldn't hold the question back.
She'd seen the change of attitude the lady had and she couldn't help but notice how it seemed to be because of Chaewon mentioning you.
"Of course not."
Yunjin sensed a sarcastic tone in her voice.
"If you have something to say, you can say it. Because, until a moment ago, you were so nice and happy but now you seem so unhappy and kinda rude."
"Well, I'm here to talk about your album and tour with you. Not your girlfriend."
"She just mentioned that I wrote the song about my girlfriend, which has to do with the album. It's relevant to the topic. Also, why would it bother you if my girlfriend is mentioned?"
Yunjin was getting very annoyed and even if she tried her absolute hardest, there was no way to hold it back when she felt like the interviewer had something against you.
"I mean, you don't even know my girlfriend and I have every right to talk about her if I want to."
"Yeah, but I think we should focus on what your fans want to hear." The interviewer snottily said. "Why would they want to hear you talk about someone who is most likely with you for money, fame, and attention?"
"Excuse me?" Yunjin scoffed. "What did you just say about my girl?"
The interviewer just looked away from her gaze, refusing to make any eye contact with her.
"No! Look me in the eye and say it again. You had a lot of nerve just a moment ago! But now that I'm calling you out on it, you can't repeat it?"
Sakura and Kazuha, who sat on each side of Yunjin, tried to keep her calm and remind her that it wasn't worth it.
But they couldn't deny that their blood was starting to boil too.
Especially as the lady just continued to make things worse for herself.
"I'm entitled to my opinion."
"Well, your opinion is invalid and incorrect. Y/N doesn't like a lot of attention or the idea of fame and she's not with me for money, she doesn't even like me treating her to fancy dinners because of how pricey they can be. But it's not your business to begin with!"
"I just think you could do better. Much better."
"I disagree," Yunjin argued.
"Okay. But there are prettier girls out there if you'd just look around. I'm sure you'd find one. You could have anyone you want."
"And I'm with the person I want! I love my girlfriend. Y/N is beautiful and kind and she means the world to me! I'm extremely offended and disgusted by how nasty you're being to someone that you don't even know."
The interviewer looked at the girls.
"You can't possibly disagree with me, right? You have to feel the same way."
The girls were outraged by her suggestion and the nerve she had to even make such insane accusations.
"We would never feel that way about Y/N," Sakura said.
"Why are you being so nasty and bitter? Have you met Y/N before? No, you haven't! You don't know her personally and we feel bad for you, actually. Because you're missing out on knowing someone so amazing and so much better than you could ever be." Kazuha spoke.
"I'm sorry?"
"You heard me loud and clear," Kazuha said, clenching her jaw angrily.
"Well. I'm sorry that I just don't think your girlfriend is very pretty and that you could do better if you just tried."
"And I'm sorry that you clearly haven't looked in the mirror lately because you have quite a lot of nerve to say someone else is ugly when you look and behave the way that you do."
The interviewer gasped while the girls had to hold back their laughter from Yunjin's response.
"You know what? This interview is over." Chaewon said. "We don't owe you anything when you're acting so nasty and hateful."
The girls all began to take their mics off.
"You can't just go. We have a lot more to talk about."
"No, we don't. You lost the right to ask us any further questions when you started talking badly about Y/N." Eunchae calmly stated before she started to walk off, taking Yunjin's hand to pull her away as she started to lose control again.
"Misery might love company but you're sure as hell not getting ours. When this interview hits social media, you just wait. We'll see if you still have a job at the end of the day." Sakura said, smiling as she walked off.
Chaewon and Kazuha threw their mics on the floor by her feet, muttering a few curse words as they walked away.
It was, by far, the worst interview they'd ever done.
But they were all incredibly proud of Yunjin and of themselves for defending you because you'd never done anything to deserve any of that and, for you, they'd do it again in a heartbeat.
