"You need to sleep, baby," Yunjin said, her voice as soft as her touch as her fingers brushed across your face.

Your skin was warm against her hand as she ran it along your forehead and watched you shiver as the chills came over you once more.

You've come down with a terrible case of the flu, one so bad that you didn't even try to fight her on taking you to the emergency room earlier today when she begged you to let her.

They ran a couple of tests and confirmed it was the flu and assured you both that it should pass in a few days or a couple of weeks at the most, since you're only on your second day of being sick.

As tired as you are, you can't get to sleep.

One second you're hot and the next you're freezing and your muscles ache so badly that you don't want to move but you can't seem to get comfortable.

Yunjin wishes that she could take it all away from you and make you feel all better because seeing you like this was torture for her.

"I can't."

It was all you could say because you were so out of energy and your throat was so sore because you've been throwing up so much that it had irritated your throat.

"Do you feel sick again?" She asked and felt relieved to see you shake your head. "Can i get you anything? Do you want some water or some soup?"

She's been trying to help you stay hydrated and feed you some soup when you felt a little up to eating but keeping anything down was a struggle right now.

You shook your head in response to all of her questions, which didn't surprise her at all.

"Do you want me to cover you up? You're shivering, baby,"

She grabbed the blanket and pulled it up to your shoulders before looking at the time.

It was too soon to give you more medicine just yet, you still had a couple of hours to go before you could have any more.

"I'll help you fall asleep."

"How?" You asked, your voice coming out as more of a whimper because of how awful you felt.

She laid close to you and gently brushed a strand of hair behind your ear so it wouldn't cling to your skin.

Her fingertips gently ran along your cheek and you melted over her touch, finding some much-needed comfort in it.

"A spotless bedroom, spends quiet nights, Pilates mornings, and she's good with wine. She wakes at the right time, sets the right vibes, she's funny but never too much, mysterious but always in touch."

Oh, how you love this song.

Love you twice has a special spot in your heart, it's just such a beautiful song and is one of your favorites by her.

This isn't the first time she's sang it for you and has given you your own private performance of it.

But this was the time you've needed to hear her sing it for you only.

Her voice brings such comfort and makes you feel okay, even when you're so close to breaking down, whether it be emotionally or physically.

"I wonder what you see when you see someone like me. Do you see her? Won't you rather touch marble instead of limestone? All i wish to be is someone deserving of the comfort that you bring."

She watched you close your eyes and finally start to give in to the need for sleep that your body craved so desperately, so you could slowly start to heal and recover.

But she kept singing.

"Cause deep inside i wanna be her. She takes the hit but never shows you where it hurts. Bathes you in spring sunshine, wipes tears dry, and says i love you twice."

She listened to your breathing, waiting for you to drift off to sleep.

"Seasons change. Say you'll stay the same."

She was going to continue the song but your breathing became soft and your chest started to rise and fall steadily and she knew that you'd fallen asleep.

"I'm sorry that you're so sick, my love. I hope you feel better soon. I'll take care of you the whole time though, i promise."

She smiled to herself as she watched you sleep soundly and she hoped that if you drifted into dreamland soon, she'd be the one that you'd dream of.

"I'll say i love you twice." She whispered and delicately touched your cheek. "I love you. Sleep tight. I'm right here if you need me."
