｢Valentines Chocolates｣ Kenma Kozume x Reader

It was finally that day again. The day where girls confess to the guys they like and give them chocolates. The day couples do couple things. And also the day the two planned on confessing to each other...

While Kenma was thinking weather he should give (Y/N) some chocolates and flowers-like other guys in otome games (or so he says)-she was busy making chocolates for him.

Not too sweet and not too bitter. Just enough to show him how much she had adored him. Her efforts showed as if she had devoted her whole being to the guy she'll be giving it to.

After a few tries and fails, she finally made a "perfect" honmei chocolate-at least on her eyes it was. She proudly gazed at it.

"I wish Ken-chan likes this..." She smiled sadly, knowing that he doesn't like her back.

...

"Come on, Kenma! What are you waiting for?? Confess to her!" Kuroo whisper-yells at Kenma when (Y/N) entered the room.

"I can't...and I won't..." Kenma answered, still focused on his game.

"Why the hell not?!?!"

"Because I can't...so I won't..."

"Whatever. It's your love life after all. Not mine." Kuroo states. "Oh, and I heard she made honmei chocolate for someone. Don't blame me if it's not you..."

...

"Ohayou, Tetsu-chan~, Ken-chan~!" The (H/C) girl skipped towards them after the bell had rung, signaling recess time.

"Un, ohayou (Y/N)." Kuroo smirks. "Jaa~, I still have some errands to run. Kenma, I'll leave my precious little cousin to you if you don't mind~."

With that, the raven-haired guy turned to leave the room while chuckling.

"Ah! Wait, Tetsu-chan! I'mma give you something!" (Y/N) rushes to her bag while Kuroo and Kenma just stared at her.

She searched her bag for the giri chocolate she would give Kuroo. After finding it, she rushed back to Kenma's desk handing the giri chocolate to Kuroo.

"Hai, there you go. Bye, Tetsu-chan!" (Y/N) waves at him as he leaves the classroom. "And don't let the fangirls bite~!" She added.

She and Kenma stared at the hallway until everyone was out of the room.

"So, Ken-chan~!" (Y/N) clapped her hands together before giving Kenma a creepy aura while smirking. "I heard from Tetsu-chan that you were planning on confessing to someone??"

"W-what..? No..?" Kenma tries to avoid eye contact while continued playing his game.

"Yieeee!! Ken-chan's growing up! He grows up so fast!" (Y/N) wipes her inexistent tears with her index finger while patting Kenma's pudding-like hair.

Kenma stayed silent...

"Oh, and I heard she made honmei chocolate for someone. And don't blame me if it's not you..."

It kept repeating in his head.

"Yeah, well-Kuroo told me that you made honmei chocolate for someone..." He stated.

"Oh! Yes, of course!" (T/N) replied excitedly yet bashfully. "And that guy is really really cute! He's very kind although he rarely speaks. He was a little short, but all in all, he managed to capture my heart..."

She placed both her hand on the upper left part of her chest.

"Ahaha, I might sound cheesy...but...he's the only person I've been this in love with-no, he's the only person I fell in love with..."

"Un...I guess he's really lucky..."

"I don't think though..."

"Why is that?"

"Because I don't think he likes me back anyway. I mean he notices me, he talks to me, but I doubt he feels the same way and somehow, I'll get rejected..."

"Don't say that. You're a wonderful person, how could he reject you?"

"I don't know... I just had the feeling..."

"Then why don't you give it to him now and see what will happen?"

Kenma's chest tightens at what he said. No, he wanted (Y/N) all to himself but...why was he so stupid as to give her an idea as that.

But if the said guy rejected her, she would get hurt and well maybe break down as well. And he doesn't want that.

"Ah! Good idea!" (Y/N) claps her hand and rushes to her bag, looking for the honmei chocolate she made.

After finding it, she quickly sits on a chair beside Kenma and stretches her arms towards him.

Kenma just looked at her in shock and disbelief. Was this real? Was she giving it to him?? He must be dreaming! But all this seemed so real!! No! She must be asking him to give it to the person she likes.

"Uhm, to whom will I give it to?" Kenma asks, carefully eyeing the chocolate.

(Y/N) giggles. Ah, that cute voice of hers.

"It's for you, silly!"

"Eh???" Kenma's eyes widened.

"It's for you Ken-chan..." She said once more before dropping her head on his left shoulder. "But promise me, even if you reject me, we stay friends..."

"E-eh...I..." Kenma was lost for words. He was smiling unknowingly. "I...love you..."

"Huh?" (Y/N) looks up at him with a questioning look on her face.

"I...I love you, (Y/N)-chan." Kenma's smile got wider the more he confessed.

(Y/N)'s tears spill out from her eyes in joy.

"Thank you Ken-chan..." She sobs. "I love you so much that it hurt me every time I see the third years overwork you...."

Kenma smiles again and holds her gently as if she was a fragile piece of perfection.

His life's dream had come true. That his first love will also fall for him.
