Fred's P.O.V.

Life at Hogwarts was so dull and boring without Cali. I miss her and the kids so much. I was just laying in my bed looking at pictures. My one favorite is when she's wearing her maroon outfit and is making a silly face at the camera. It's so her and she's just being herself in the photo.

I smiled as I saw the picture of us kissing when we first started dating. She's so beautiful. I wish she was in my arms right now cuddling with me and the twins playing with Nala entertaining us unintentionally. I went to the desk in our dorm and got out a quill and parchment.

Dear Cali,

I miss you loads. I wish you came back with us after the Hogsmead trip but I know you couldn't have. George and I have detention later, please don't be mad. It was a harmless joke. I can't wait to see you and the twins again. How are they? Are they learning magic yet? I really want to know and I feel bad that I didn't stay home with you but, I couldn't have. Give the family and kids my love.

I folded the letter and went to the owlery. I wanted to ask her about the Order but I know the letters are being read. "Take this to Cali" I told the barn owl. He hooted and left with the letter. I really wish she were here. She'd like Dumbledore's Army. She told us it sounded like fun when she visited at Hogsmead but she couldn't be a part of it because she didn't go to Hogwarts and she needed to be with the kids.

Speaking of Dumbledore's Army, I'm heading to the meeting now. We're learning the stunning spell today. We all know it but the only ones who have actually mastered it are Hermione and Harry. After Christmas break which is next week, Harry said he'd teach us Patronous'. He said to think of a really happy memory and I knew all I had to think about was her. Everyday with Cali was a happy one. I went into the DA "classroom" and went to partner with George. We started stunning and it wasn't that bad. I got five galleons from George because Hermione stunned Ron instead of the other way around.

After the lesson we headed back to our dorms and went to bed, not much but like I said earlier, all the excitement is gone along with Cali. That night Harry had a dream about our dad being attacked so Dumbledore sent us to 12 Grimmauld Place early. Apparently our dad is in St. Mungo's for a major snake attack. I immediately started asking questions until Ginny started crying. I comforted her and then I cried a little myself. She whispered in my ear "someone looks like they need to see you" she said indicating to the stairs.

I looked and saw Cali coming down. "Who apperated?" She yelled drawing her wand. She didn't know we were coming I guess. She saw me and ran to me. "I'm so sorry about your dad" she said breathlessly into my shoulder. I hugged her for a while before my mum came in. "Mum!" Ginny yelled running to her. I smiled and went to my mum. She hugged us all while crying and then we all tried to distract ourselves.

Cali and I went to her room and laid down cuddling. "I missed you so much" she said. I nodded "I missed you too" I said hugging her. She rested her head on my chest whilst I had my arms around her. "What do you know that we don't?" I asked her. She shook her head "I can't say" that got me upset, we were supposed to be a team and she was supposed to tell me things like this. "Why not?" I said. She sat up, "I made a vow" she said looking down. "It's the rule" she said quietly.

"Oh bullshit!" I yell standing up. She looked up surprised, I've never yelled at her. Ever. "When have you ever listened to rules?!" I yelled. She stood up yelling also. "I have to now! I promised to protect you! And the twins! This 'bullshit' you're yelling about is called growing up! You should try it!" She yelled.

"I have grown up!" I yelled in defense knowing I haven't grown up yet. "I can't deal with this right now" she said. "Deal with what?" I asked sarcastically. She walked to the door opening it "you. I don't want the babies to wake up and I don't want people worrying" she said. I scoffed in disbelief and walked out knowing I fucked things up big time.

Cali's P.O.V.

After I kicked him out of my room and locked the door I screamed in frustration. Why is he being like this?! Why is he so complicated?! I started pacing the room until I heard a knock on the door. "What!" I yelled opening it. There was James and ahead didn't even care that I yelled. He sat down and I sat next to him after closing and locking the door.

"Everyone heard what happened" he told me. I rolled my eyes "is there any privacy in this damned house?" I said sarcastically. He chuckled and shook his head but then put on his serious face. "What's going on munchkin?" He asked. I sighed and looked at him. "He wants me to tell him what the Order knows but he knows that I can't and then he yelled at me and I yelled back then I kicked him out" I replied starting to cry.

He comforted me like the amazing older brother he is and I cried into his chest. "It's okay, people fight" he tried. "We've never fought before" I cried. "He makes me so mad sometimes, why can't he see that I can't do everything he wants" I sobbed. He shushed me and kept hugging me. We stayed like that for about an hour before dinner was ready. "I'm not hungry it told him" he shook his head and insisted I go downstairs. "Let me change" I said. He nodded and waited outside my door to make sure that I did eventually come out.

I changed into black spandex and a grey tee shirt. I then threw my straightened hair into a lose high pony. I looked in the mirror and cursed that my face was still red from crying. I went out my door and when James went in front of me I ran into my room and locked it. He unlocked it and threw me over his shoulder like I was a sack of potatoes. I complained and hit his back but I knew it was hopeless.

We entered the kitchen door way when he finally put me down. I glared at him and sat next to Ginny and Ron instead of Fred and Kingsley. I could feel peoples eyes on me but stayed quiet and started eating. No one else moved but I didn't care. I ate and eventually, so did everyone else. No one talked and I finished so I got up and took Jason and Paige from their high chairs and brought them out of the room. I had them sat down next to me on the floor as I did magic sparks.

I cried a little bit and then heard someone come in. I wiped away the tears and turned my neck to see who it was. Fred. I got up and walked out of the room not looking back. I walked up the stairs and straight into my room. I needed to throw something. I found a glass cup that I brought up last night to drink some water. I threw that against the wall and it shattered. I heard people start coming up stairs and didn't notice that I stepped on some of the glass. "Shit!" I yelled. I went to my bed hoping as people banged on the door.

I examined my foot and it was pretty bad. "Tonks!" I yelled. I sent a spell at the door and everyone piled in. They looked at my foot and the broken glass and started fussing over me. "I said I wanted Tonks!" I yelled frustrated. They understood and she looked at my foot. She stitched it up and gave me a potion. "You'll be good by tomorrow" she assured me. I nodded and crawled into bed.

I felt a chain around my neck as I laid down. I looked at it and saw my locket. I opened it and cried when I saw the two of us happy. To tell you the truth, I haven't been that happy in a while. I cried myself to sleep that night, a sad, dreamless sleep.
