Cali's P.O.V.
We woke up to the kids jumping on us and the smell of French toast in the air. I caught Jason and Fred caught Paige. "When did you two wake up?" I asked sitting up with him in my arms. They did cute little thinking faces "right now" they said together. We chuckled and went to the kitchen with the kids in our arms.
"I have to say, it's nice not being the only cook in the house" I grinned as George set our plates down. Fred laughed and we put the twins in their high chairs. We ate as a big family and shared a few laughs before going to get ready.
I put on my messy clothes (old tee shirt and old yoga pants) to paint the baby's room today. George and Fred did do the base coat last night but today I'm doing all the fairy tale detail. I started on outlining the designs like the tree, the birds, the squirrel, etc.
After that I painted the blue sky and put detail in the grass to make it look like there was actual grass there. I've always loved painting and art, I hope that one of my kids feel the same one day.
After the grass, I painted the tree, since I'm short for my age I had to use a step ladder. I didn't mind though, it was kind of fun. After the tree was done I took a break and put a spell on it to make it dry in an hour. During that hour I spent time with everyone, played with Nala and helped clean up.
After an hour I went back and started on the animals. The back ground after that, then the letter blocks and finally, I put the little bows in a couple places. I put the spell on that paint as well and took a shower. When my shower was done I changed into leggings and a navy blue knit sweater.
I just had fuzzy socks on my feet since I wasn't going anywhere. To be fair I only put on presentable clothing for if I needed to work the shop. Lately, it's just been the boys working and I feel bad. But they also have Lee and Angelina working to help them so that helps.
I've mainly been working when the twins take their two hour nap but that means I'm only working twelve hours a week since we're closed on Sundays. I looked at myself in the mirror and curled my hair, did my make up and put a navy blue beanie on the back of my head. I really made my eye liner pop today and felt very accomplished from how I looked.
I went to the fridge to get a snack and realized there wasn't much food. I sighed and got my combat boots on and the twins. I changed them into warm clothes and then grabbed my magic bag. My wand was in my boot for easy access as well.
I had each child in one arm and got their stroller. I headed out through the store so that the boys knew where we were. "Love you guys" I called. "Love you too" they called back. Even though George and I aren't dating like Fred and I, we'll soon to be married, I still love him completely. He's like my brother. He is my brother.
We walked down the streets of London and I got many compliments on how beautiful the kids were. I thanked each person and kept going. I was even asked if they were my siblings once, I laughed and explained how even though I'm nineteen that no, I'm their mum.
We arrived at the grocery store and I put the twins in the baby section f the kart. They both fit because it was a two child seat so we were lucky with that. What happened next wasn't so lucky.
"Cali Green" a familiar voice said as I was getting bread. I turned a bit startled and stepped in front of my children when I saw who it was. "Cameron" I said. "I heard you and Weasly number two got together, and had kids" he said motioning to the twins behind me.
"Yes we did and I'm having a third in about eight months" I said, boasting a big. He nodded "I heard Mackenzie dumped you for someone older" I said. He nodded "but I have a new girlfriend so it's fine" he said. I nodded. "I'm going to go now" I said, pushing the kart.
