~CHAPTER 3~
"Hey Todd!" I said as I walked into his room. He was playing a surfing game I got him for his birthday a while ago for the Xbox 360. Todd didn't hear me and kept playing his game. "Todd!" I shouted.
Todd paused the game and looked at me. "Yeah, Lilo?"
"I went surfing with Dani, and Brad this morning and I've got good news you'll be glad to hear!" I said sounding like Todd had won a million bucks.
"What is it!" Todd said as he got up from his bed.
"Brad said they will be throwing a surfing party, and I asked if you can come..." I began.
Todd sighed. "And they said I can't go."
"Nope, the opposite actually!" I said happily.
"Really Lilo!" Todd said happily.
"Yep." I said feeling warm inside. I liked seeing Todd happy.
"Wow thanks Lilo!" Todd said giving me hug.
"Well I thought 'hey my friends think you're pretty cool so why not?'" I said shrugging.
"You're the best big sister ever!" Todd said squeezing me tight.
"Even better than Lela?" I asked looking down at Todd.
"YEAH!!!" He said smiling.
"Yeah I know!" I smirked. "I am pretty awesome!"
"What ever!" I heard Lela yell from her room next to Todd's but I just shrugged.
"Tonight at about 8:00 when it gets dark we will leave and go to the party." I said letting go of Todd. I walked to the door and was going t o leave. "Later." I said leaving his room. I was going to close the door when I heard Todd's voice.
"Hey Lilo," Todd called out to me. "Thanks." He said smiling. I watched him go back to playing Xbox for a minute.
"You're welcome." I whispered to myself as I closed the door behind me.
