"I Like You, Y/N."

So this one is a lot longer than my last two as I wanted to show the jealous side of Liam and also I love Brett and wanted to add him in. So I hope you like it.

It was the end of your first week at Beacon Hills High and you decided to go to the lacrosse match with Lydia.

Once you get there you sit down at the bleachers between Lydia and Malia, the girl Stiles dating. Malia's actually really nice and you can tell her and Lydia get along. You then scan the lacrosse team looking to see of you recognise anyone from your classes and that's when you see Liam. Wow he looked hot. You had been staring at him for a while but you only noticed when he waved at you so quickly you waved back and looked at the ground so he couldn't see your blush.

You see Lydia smirking at you and you glare at her.
"Really Lyds. I don't like him."
"Yeah right. He's cute, kind and single."
"I agree." Malia speaks up.
"Guys I've barely known him a week so stop saying I like him when I don't."

"Ohhhh Y/N who do you like?"
You look up and your eyes meet your childhood best friend Brett's. You grin as you pull him into a tight hug.
"Really I haven't seen you for a year and that's the first thing you ask?" you can't help but smile at him just because you miss him.

"Y/N are you ever going to introduce us?" Lydia asks staring at Brett abs. If she only knew the reason we broke up. You roll your eyes before answering
"Brett, Lydia and Malia, Lydia and Malia, Brett."
"Nice meeting you two," he winks at them both as I roll my eyes "and nice seeing you again Y/N now that your back in town we have to meet up."
And with that he heads to the field but before I shout after him that we were going to crush him.

You look for Liam again and see he was watching you. Oh shot what if he thinks Brett's your boyfriend? Wait why do you care? You don't like him do you?

"I don't care what you think he totally likes you, Y/N." Lydia says
You sigh before answering
"Brett doesn't like me he's my best friend. Although we did date but we broke up when I left town."
Lydia laughs "I didn't mean Brett. I mean Liam, look at him he hasn't stopped glaring at Brett since he left us."

For most of the match Liam and Brett kept tackling each other for the ball and once they got it looked over you? Half way through the match Liam tackled Brett but this time they started fighting so Scott had to pull Liam away and one of Brett's teammates pulled Brett away.

At the end of the match you ran after Brett to check if he was alright.
"Brett what's wrong with you? Why were you and Liam fighting? Are you okay?"
"I'm fine Y/N/N and I'll explain later but can I get a hug?"
You laugh before you hug him and rest your head against his chest. That's when you see Liam walk past in a strop so you pull away from Brett and run after Liam with Brett trailing after you.

"Liam wait!" You call after him.
"What?" He huffs.
You roll your eyes at Liam not understanding why he was in such a mood.
"One of you needs to explain what was happening during the match." you say as you cross your arms.
"It's nothing." Liam answers
"NOTHING? You guys looked as if you wanted to kill each other. So you guys better explain now."

Liam says before answering
"I was jealous. I like you, Y/N. But it's obvious you like Brett."
You stand there shocked at what Liam just admitted until Brett reveals his secret which was also the reason you guys broke up.
"Man, I'm bi. But mostly into guys. Look I've got to go but let's meet up later Y/N." and with that he leaves.

"You like me?" You finally say not believing that it was true.
He sighs "yes I've liked you since you bumped into me in the hallway. But it doesn't matter because you'll never like me."
You grin at him before saying "I like you too, idoit. I've got to go and find Lydia and Malia but see you on Monday."
