chapter twelve
"Are you excited for tomorrow?" Louis asked as they rode up in the elevator. Elizabeth glanced at Louis who was looking directly ahead.
"Eh, not really," Elizabeth joked with a smug grin on her face. Louis shook his head and smiled to himself, he was expecting this response from her. She wasn't one to be straightforward unlike himself, but he knew that she was secretly excited, or so he hoped.
"I know you are but you just don't want to admit it, it's gonna be a lot of fun. Trust me," Louis assured. Louis had been planning something that she would never ever forget. Even if they didn't work out, he still wanted for her to remember their date. Even when she was married with kids that might not have been his, he hoped that she would think back to her date with Louis Tomlinson and smile at the memory.
"I'm trusting you," she sang as the doors opened into his living room. Elizabeth was nervous for tomorrow, she didn't now where it would lead and that make her anxious.
"Here let me get you some comfortable clothes so you don't have to lounge around in your work clothes," Louis spoke while running upstairs to his closet. A few moments later, he came back and handed her a pair of sweatpants and a t-shirt.
"How kind of you," Elizabeth smile with a sarcastic tone in her voice, although she was very thankful.
"I'm not sure if that was sarcasm or not but I'll take whatever I can get out of you," Louis laughed. "The bathroom is down the hall if you wanna go change in there but you're always welcome to change here if it makes you feel more comfortable,"
"Cheeky," Elizabeth yelled while walking towards the bathroom. She shut the door and stripped herself of her clothes. She picked up the shirt that Louis had given her and read the tag that read 'Saint Laurent'. "Rich people," She muttered before throwing it on.
After setting aside her clothes, she made her way back to the living room where Louis was stood in front of a larger case of books and movies.
"So what do you wanna watch? I've got several movies," Louis asked. Elizabeth walked over to Louis' case of movies and read through all the different titles he had before picking one.
"I love this movie," Elizabeth spoke before handing him the movie.
"Whiplash, nice choice," Louis nodded his head before putting the CD in the DVD player. "So, you're done with all the interviews?""Yeah, now I just gotta write the article and find some pictures on the internet to go with it and I'll be done," Elizabeth explained.
"Pictures?" Louis furrowed his eyebrows.
"Yeah, it gives the article more appeal and a sense of what it's going to be about," Elizabeth explained.
"Want original pictures? I know a photographer that could easily take pictures of us for your article," Louis suggested.
"No, that's alright. You guys have done enough for me and I can just find some online." Elizabeth shook her head.
"So I'll call my photographer friend tomorrow," Louis smirked. He knew how difficult Elizabeth could be, even if the suggestion could help her, so he knew she wouldn't take up the offer immediately.
"Louis!" Elizabeth groaned. "If the boys are okay with it then fine but I don't want to take time out of your break," she added.
"They'll be fine with it, don't worry about it," Louis shrugged off.
"You're too much," Elizabeth chuckled while making herself comfortable on Louis' couch.

Nothing eventful had happened that night, they talked and spent time with each other like most friends do and that was it.
When Elizabeth woke up the next morning, she was greeted by a text from non other than Louis Tomlinson. Her eyes adjusted to the light coming from her phone screen as she tried to read the text.
Hey Liz ;)
I talked to my photographer friend and the boys and set up a photoshoot for Monday morning. The boys were perfectly fine with the idea so you don't have to worry about that. Also, I'll pick you up at six tonight. Xx
Elizabeth set aside her phone without replying and sat in her warm bed for a while, just thinking about what could possibly happen tonight. She wondered what he had planned, was it something big or something small like a movie?
Knowing Louis, he didn't do small. Everything in his world was big and lavish, would tonight be the same too?
