Unless you don't want to forget, those word struck through my mind like a lighting bolt.

"I-I um" I stuttered as I looked down towards my shoes trying to accumulate some sort of answer that wouldn't ruin whatever friendship  we had going on between us.

"Never mind."

I awoke to a loud screech erupting from my phone. I looked over to see that it was just my alarm playing love me like you do by Ellie Goulding.

Turning my phone off I pulled myself out of bed and limped to the bathroom. I hoped through the shower and went to my closet to pick out my clothes for the day. Grabbing a few items I retreat back to the warmth of my bed to choose my outfit. Finally, I decided on black skinny jeans; a navy blue and white striped shirt along with a yellow necklace. After sliding on my clothes for the day; I walked over to my make up stand and did my usual routine witch consisted of lipstick, mascara, and eyeshadow. I then looked at my hair witch desperately needed to be straightened. Quickly I pulled out my flat iron and brushed it throughout my hair. Once done, I looked to the finished project.

This isn't you. This is your disguise, and it won't hold for long. You might think you can play everyone, but baby girl you're wrong.

"Okay class get with your partners and continue your project." My teacher instructed. I cringed at her words knowing that meant I would have to see Jack again.

Before I could continue thinking Jack himself sat down beside me and spoke, "okay I'm not doing the project so whatever have fun."

"What?!" I snapped. My voice rang loudly through the class, a little too loud.

"Ms. BrandenBurg, is there a problem?" My teacher questioned raising an eyebrow at my sudden actions.

"No no, I apologize." I replied looking towards .

"That was quite the show wasn't it." He smirked.

"Can you zip it. I'm trying to finish our project." I hissed.

"Chill out babe, come over today so we can finish this shit." Jack spoke, his words smooth and gentle.

"No," I denied. "But, can you come over to mine instead?"

"No. I said my house," he growled while sternly looking me in the eye. "I'm not repeating myself again."

Trembling, I reached my frail arm out towards a large wooden door. I gently brushed my knuckles against it before it jolted open, revealing a angry Jack.

"Come in."

"What's two X plus four equals eight?" Jack questioned looking over at me.

"Really?" I giggled. "That's the easiest one in the book."

"I don't give a shit. What is it?"

"Two x" I calmly replied, looking over to see him writing harshly on his paper.

"Don't get annoyed with me just because I gave you the answer." I scowled.

"Shut the fuck up. No one was talking to you."

"Actually, you were." I laughed.

"Bitch." I heard Jack mumble.

"Jerk." I mocked.

"You're to pussy; you can't even cuss."

"No I'm not." I argued.

"Fine, then cuss." Jack egged. Crossing his arms over his chest, a sly smirk appearing across his face.

"I- um-" I started.

"Pussy." Jack laughed, again.
