Ever wonder why people don't believe you when you say that you've seen a ghost? Ever wonder why they give you a strange look, and then try their hardest to laugh it off? Ever get that feeling that they know more than you do?
Well, this is normal, of course.
I mean, it happens to everyone, right? Right.
People react in different ways to ghosts and demons. Some laugh, some cry, some hide underneath their beds until day comes. Some even try to run. But no matter how many times you try to do any of those things, they will always catch up on you.
The main reason for people acting strange around the mention of the terrors of the night, is because they've experienced unspeakable things. You may think that you've seen the worst, but really, you should be thanking the Lord that you haven't physically experienced the worst.
Sometimes you can see it in their eyes, or the way they shuffle around, or how they try not to get too close to people. This is because they've seen such things that have scarred them for life. They've seen different things to what you have; things that don't even exist in your nightmares. They know what it's like to be properly scared, to live in fear, to have unreal things laugh in their faces.
You may think that you've witnessed something out of this world, but there are other people who have witnessed something that shouldn't even exist in this world. They've seen different things to you, things that you should never think of.
But I guess now you're thinking of them. And that's probably going to be your worst mistake. Now, maybe it's your turn to see things like they have. You may understand, then.
