Star Lord PoV
"Here it is," gamora says, lifting her hands from your eyes. You look around. You seem to be in a huge clear observatory, where you can see all the stars for millions of miles.
"Wow this is... Really beautiful" you say. You're not one for sincere feelings but this is really worth it.
"I thought so." She replies, and you wrap your arm around her shoulders.
"You see that star over there?" She points and you nod.
"Somewhere revolving around that is my home planet." Her eyes begin to water and you see a side of the warrior that no one really sees.
"And on that planet my friends and family are all dead or enslaved."
"I'm so sorry," you say, trying to console her but not really knowing how.
"It's okay. That's all in the past now. I can handle it"
"Well, I'll always be there for you. I love you more than anything, gamora."
Gamora looks away, seeming ashamed.
"Oh, Peter. You don't know what you've gotten yourself into. I'm not who you think I am. I'm...
