Chapter I: Lost Of Understanding

"Are you sure this is the right one? I feel kind of weird in this one" Katherine said as she examined the wedding dress.

"Of course! You look like a princess" Madeline replied.

Madeline is Katherine's long time friend. Through thick and thin she was always there. Madeline was a typical red head...a real one.

Most people would look at her saying it was fake...its not. One bad trait of Madeline was the habit of going to far. Duck tape is needed at all times.

"But I don't want to be a princess. I want to be me" Katherine explained. Katherine asked the assistant for a more vintage and lace dress. Something that fit more of her personality. The assistant came in the dressing room and brought in a lace dress fitted at the hips. It was squared at the neck with lace sleeves coming outwards. The bottom of the dress was like a mermaids tail with tiny beads at the end of it.

"This is beautiful. It's very vintage inspired, I think this could be the one" Katherine spoke.

Katherine walked out of the dressing room to the mini runway to show Madeline the dress.

"Woah, someone's on fire" Madeline stated.

"You like it?" Katherine asked.

"Yes I do...a lot. So much that I think if you came to your house in that dress. Nate would want to have sex with you right there on the floor"

Katherine laughed at the comment Madeline said. The longer she looked at herself the more she wanted to cry.

"This is the one! I'm saying yes to this one no doubt about it!" Katherine said.

Back at the house Nate was alone. He was waiting for Katherine to come home. He wanted to talk about somethings before the big day. Nate and Katherine are getting married in a couple of months but Nate has to tour sometime. How will Katherine react? Is he even going to tell her?

Katherine came through the door all happy and glowing. Nate walked up to her and hugged her.

"Hun, we need to talk" Nate said.

"Yes, what is it?" Katherine asked.

"I'm going to have to tour for a couple of months with the band"

"Are you going to be here for the wedding?"

"I'm not sure of that yet. Please understand"

"I don't know if I can" Katherine said as she went up the stairs to the bedroom.

Nate called Jack and Andrew.

"Jack, Andrew...she didn't take the news so well"

"Good luck on that" Jack replied.

"I feel for you" Andrew said after.
