Laugh for a Kiss

In a Loft that over looked Brooklyn a Shadow hunter and Warlock were sitting in each others company while a storm ragged outside.

Said Warlock though was bored out of his mind, it was raining out and nothing was on t.v. As for his blue eyed lover he was sitting on a stool with countless books splattered all over the open Kitchen table.

Earlier that day Alec had walked in with a duffle bag full of books, when questioned he had stated that his mother asked him to go all over the library and handle the books since Jace and Izzy made a mess of them. Alec had brought the last of his work home.

So Magnus as the respectful boyfriend that he was left Alec to his work. But that was over three hours ago! He was so bored! Chairmen didn't want to cuddle either, the cat rather sleep on one of Alec's many sweaters.

"Alec" Magnus called out

No response

"Alec" he said a little louder

"Mph" Alec looked up with a grunt

He looked as if he were in pain, walking up toward him Magnus placed his thumb between Alec's eyebrows and started rubbing. Removing the irritated lines that had formed, tiny blue sparks also began to form. Alec breathed a sigh of relief as his migraine disappeared.

"Better?" Magnus smiled softly

"Yes thank you"

"Penny for your thoughts?"

"Maggie you know I have to finish this"

"Yes I know that darling but, if I make you laugh you have to give me a kiss and take a break" he exclaimed

Alec lips pouted as he thought it over

"And if I don't laugh?" he finally asked

"I doubt it, but if so I'll even help you with your work"

Magnus's answer caused Alec to raise an eyebrow as he finally accepted

"Okay" the warlock began to take a deep breath before he started singing :

At the end of the song Magnus sat in the chair right next to Alec as he awaited the boy's response.

"Magnus that song was so horrible" Alec said in between laughs as he cradled his head in his hands

"It got you to laugh though" he yelled back happily "Now wheres my kiss"

Alec smiled at his crazy warlock as he leaned in to press their lips together gently
