"Slow down!" I scream at Zach as he drives like a maniac down the road. Apparently we are driving to a beach, that has a boardwalk, and a zip line close by. I am screaming my head off and holding on to him as tightly as I could, but he just kept driving faster. He is lucky that we are going to a restaurant that is also right on the beach(this is apparently a magic beach that has all my needs in one place), or else I would risk my life by jumping off his bike. "You are a jerk, I hate you!" I scream right into his ear, but I feel his chest vibrate and I know that he is laughing at me.
Ugh, boys....
As soon as he parks the motorcycle, I jump off and start walking down the sidewalk to food. It is my best friend, and has been ever since birth. I hear Zach start to run towards me, but I was the fastest girl in my old school so I easily run through the doors, before he has the chance to catch up. The restaurant was nice and small but not too small with one side that had huge windows that looked right out onto the ocean. I could see the waves coming in and rolling back out again, children and adults were playing in the sand or in the waves. As I kept looking around(because I am a very curious child) I could see the boardwalk and the zip line, which if I do say so myself was pretty freaking huge. As far as I could see you are blind folded and dropped into the ocean at the end, and did mention it's 3/4 of a mile long? But that wasn't the only thing, as I finally come back to reality I turn around to see Zach grinning at me murderously.
Well this guy has to be on drugs, I don't even understand why I'm here with him today I met yesterday. But it was either unpack at home, or take the chances of being kidnapped and killed. If you couldn't tell already I chose the latter.
"Table for two please?" Zach says, and emphasizes his Italian accent which I can tell he does to make girls swoon over him because the girls waiting in chairs and the host there all swooned. And I'm glad he did because instead of waiting for an hour and a half we got in right away. The host lead us outside on the deck that overlooked the ocean. The breeze was nice, and it was the perfect temperature, there was an umbrella that shaded us from the sun and the water was as clear as glass. Zach came around and pulled out the chair for me like a gentlemen.
"Thank you." I say to Zach and he mutters a 'no problem' as he sits down across from me. As soon as we sat down the hunger games began, every single girl waitress came to take our order. All Zach ordered was a two person meal, which was--- the monster burger. It was sent from heaven, and was like a 4 pound baby cupid that came with a side of the monster fries. I was going to order a normal cheeseburger, but Zach stepped in and ordered The M.B with two large cokes now this was wwwaaayyy better than what most girls my age where eating which consisted of diet water, diet salad, and pretty much anything diet (even though they were already twigs).
"So I will make you a deal we split the meal in half, and if you can finish your half or I don't finish mine, we won't have to go on that zip-line over there. But if I manage to eat my half or you don't finish yours which you probably won't we both have to go on it." Zach says to me arching one of his eyebrows and gave me a half smirk that only boys can pull off.
"What makes you so sure you will finish your half, flab man?" I tell him laughing at his new nickname, it's not as if he was actually fat, he was perfect and had the abs of a Greek god."Oh I have a VERY good feeling I will finish, Miss. Stalker." Zach spits back at me, and I feel myself blush as bright as the sun. "Deal?" Zach ask me while spitting on his hand and putting it out for me to shake.
"Deal." I say spitting on my own hand and joining our hands together.
For the next 20 minutes we just got to know each other better, and he told me the many times he almost died in knife fights, or street fights it was amazing how many times he almost died even though he was only 15. He told me that he was on the basketball, baseball, and football team and how his friends Bryce and Aaron had all met in preschool and were practically like brothers to him.
