Leila's P.O.V

It was early in the morning when I awoke to the pleasant sound of bird's tunes in the trees outside of the open door.

Just Kidding...

I woke up to the sound and smell of a fart right in front of my face that smelled like death. My eyes flew open and I started to gag while coughing.

"Zach!" I screamed at him, already knowing that it was something that he'd do. As I pinch my nose and fan the air around my face, trying to get rid of the smell, I looked around. There were two huge forts built in the grand living room of Zach's house. Splayed out all around the inside of our "fort" were pillows and blankets, which on and under a couple were Bianca, Scarlett, and Maria, Zach's sisters. But Zach being Zach had come into our fort and decided to fart in my face...

And then I remember what had happened last night... (yes more dots for more drama)

Last Night

Wiping the tears out of my eyes I stepped back, unravelling Zach and I's arms. If only I could unravel my memories about my parent's arguments.

"You wanna go inside? We're having spaghetti and meatballs, and your brothers seem to be enjoying their selves." He asked turning to look inside through the window to see his family, his friends, and my brothers around the big table.

"Sure." I said uncertain about my answer. He opened the door and walked in after me.

"Leila!" His family said in unison. It made me laugh because I don't have this big of a family. "Zach don't just stand there, show Leila to her seat. You ungrateful maiale!" She said swatting Zach with her napkin.

"La Mamma si ferma mi stai imbarazzante!" He yelled back at his mom while rolling his eyes. She eventually walked away, taking her seat again.

"What did your mom call you?" I asked as he started walking me to an empty chair next to Liam.

"Nothing, nothing at all." He replied nervously. And soon after took a seat across from me.

Soon forks were clinking as people were talking, and Zach's mom was practically yelling and answering questions that I answered or asked. She reminded me so much of my mom, just from Italy. But who knows, my mom is insane, she could have been from Italy.

"So Leila, your mom told me that you had tried out for something and made the team. What was it that you tried out for?" She yelled to me.

"It was the cheer team." I replied less than half the volume of the question asked.

"Oh, so you will be at Zach's game tomorrow?" She questioningly yelled.

"Yes."

"My Peperoncino is so strong! Last game he almost killed somebody!" She laughed and I cringed, thinking about how that would be something my mom would say.

"Mamma! No I didn't!" He said blushing. "It was only 2/4ths of a chance that he would die..." He embarrassingly whispered to no one in particular.

"Anyway, everyone clear their plates!" She said, noticing everyone was done. We all ran to the sink and put our plates and silverware in the dishwasher.

"Everyone! To the upstairs family room!" Zach yelled to all us kids. Everyone ran, pushing and shoving did happen as we ran. As we got upstairs Zach sat in a throne-ish chair while his brother grabbed a box, and his sisters grabbed a scroll of paper that looked like it had... rules on it? "Jay, pass the berf nox." He said, speaking gibberish to his brother, who passed the storage box to him. "This everybody who doesn't know is, the berf nox. This nox holds the most lethal weapons known to kid-kind. Jay, will you do the honors?"
