Kurama was saddened knowing that his kid was going to think he had died, even if they fought the ten tails who should of been gone but the tailed beast are charka.
Letting naruto gain his ultimate form, making naruto think he would also die was hard on him. But the hardest part was hearing naruto voice as he had disappeared.
He knew that he would return in 3 years, to be able to help out but kurama couldn't see what would happen to naruto since most of his charka would be gone.
But it feels like an eternity
