Chapter 3

*At Home*

Melissa's POV

By the time I made it into the house I knew that my dad was out and probably getting drunk at his favorite bar. I pulled out my phone and decided to text Anna to see if I can spend the night.

(A-Anna) (M-Melissa)

M- Hey can I sleep over at your house tonight?

A- Yeah. We are going to have so much fun!!!!!!!

M- Okay I'll see you in a few.

I lock my phone and put it down grabbed a piece of paper and wrote:

Dad, I'm going to spend the night at Anna's be back in the morning.

I put it on the kitchen counter then walked up to my room grabbed a dufle bag and grabbed my pajamas and close for school tomorrow. Put it in my bag then went to the bathroom grabbed my makeup, my tooth brush and tooth paste, deodorant, and my hairbrush. Go into my room and put it in my bag grab my charger, phone, and the bag. I head down the stairs grab my keys and walk out the door close and lock it. I walk over to Anna's house and knock on the door.

The door opens and Remi, Anna's older brother, was standing there smiling.

"Hey Melissa. How are you?" Remi said.

"Well I just learned that your sister is taking me to a 5SOS concert and that we have backstage passes and that I get to meet them. So I'm doing pretty good. How are you?"

"I'm doing good. I have a girlfriend now. So.......... I'm pretty happy."

"Thats good. Hopefully I can meet her one day."

"Well actually she goes to school with you. I wonder if you know her?"

"What's her name?" I asked hoping he would not say the name I do not want to hear from him.

"Her names Lindsey. She's in the same grade as you." Of course it has to be her. She has bullied me for 6 years and I have no idea why. She just randomly started doing it but why does he have to go out with that slut? She has literally slept with every single guy in our school. What the hell does he see in her.

"Yeah I know who she is. We don't really talk though. Can I come inside now please?" I asked him some what annoyed.

"Uh yeah. Please come on in." He said shyly because he could tell that i was getting annoyed. I walked in and said thank you to him. I began to descend the stairs and as I was almost to the top I saw Matthew with a towel hanging low on his waist. I could not help myself from staring at his abs.

"You should close your mouth you don't want any flies going in there. Unless you have something else in mind you want to do with that pretty little mouth of yours." He said with a smirk on his face. I closed my mouth and looked down while blushing. I could hear him laughing a little bit.

"Is Anna in her room?"

"Yeah. She should be?"

"Okay. Thanks." I keep on walking up the stairs. By the time I get to Anna's room I just walk in to it without knocking because I pretty much live at her house. "Hey Anna." I said as I smiled at her.

"Hey Melissa. How are you? Why did you want to come over?" She asked with a questioning look.

"My dad wasn't home. I knew he was probably out getting drunk and I didn't want to be home when he got home." I said . "Hope I didn't mess with any of your plans."

"I didn't have any plans tonight. I was just going to sit in here and watch Netflix. Now we can watch it together and gossip about boys. I'll go make the popcorn brb." She said really excitedly and ran out of the room. I started to set up Netflix for us and get it on a movie on her T.V. She finally came back with a giant bowl of popcorn.

"What are we going to watch?" She asked me.

"I was thinking we could watch a funny movie. So I choose Daddy's Home. Are The you okay with that?" I asked her. I heard this movie was really funny that's why I wanted to watch it. (This movie is really funny I have watched.)

"Yeah I'm fine with that." She sat down on her bed with the popcorn and I pressed play on the movie.
