We get all of the stuff and put them in the trunk of the car. Ashton drives and Michael sits in the front with him. The rest of us sit in the back, me squished between Calum and Luke. Ashton drives, Calum and Michael play on their phones, Luke stares out the window, and I look down at my hands. It's awkward now. I didn't want it to be. I should've just apologized so things aren't weird. I sigh, and Luke nudges me.

"You ok?" he asks, staring into my green eyes, well, I think he was.

It was night so I couldn't see that much.

"Yeah," I say.

He frowns, not convinced with my answer.

"I'm fine!" I say sternly, nudging him back.

"Don't lie to me." Luke says, pulling his lips into a small smile.

I think for a moment, trying to make Luke stop bugging me. An idea pops in my head an a smirk creeps across my face.

"Don't me make tickle you." I say.

He gasps, then says, "You wouldn't."

I aim for his neck and he laughs. I haven't heard him laugh like this in a long time. I smile, then start to laugh when he tickles me.

"Stop it Luke Robert Hemmings!" I shriek.

"Stop shaking the car!" Ashton says.

"Stop yelling!" Michael yells.

"Umm, stop?" Calum says, unsure on what to say.

We all laugh, but Luke and I keep on tickling each other.

Suddenly, I feel something squeeze on my breasts.

"Oops! Ummm, sorry." Luke says, embarrassed.

I laugh uncontrollably.

"Oh my god Luke, you are so awkward. And that's why you're my best friend." I say. "And it's ok. It's not like you accidentally touched them before."

He grins, then says, "Remember when we had that tickle fight and you hit your head on the table? That was so funny."

"Hey! No it wasn't! It hurt." I say, remembering the old times.

It suddenly got quiet, and I whispered to Luke, "I forgive you."

He was taken by surprise, then says, "Really? That was quick."

He hugs me and I hug him back. The butterflies inside my stomach fluttered. I felt safe when I was in his arms, and I didn't want to let go.

"Umm Charlie, you can let go now." Luke says.

"Oh, sorry."

I blush and let go of him. Then, Calum nudges me. I look at him, then he points at his phone. I read the message.

Calum: Good job Charlie. 😏 Mission completed.

I smile, then say, "You guys don't have to help me anymore. I'm good now."

A message pops up.

Michael: No, we need to take it to step 3.

I look at Michael and he smirks. Then I snatch Calum's phone and type:

Charlie: Fine, just don't go all crazy about helping me.

Michael: We will. 😉.....
"Ashton, can you drop me off at my parent's house? I promised I was going to spend time with them today." Calum asks.

"Sure."

"Me too. Drop me off my parent's." Michael adds.

Calum and Michael exchange a smug smile. Ashton looks at them quickly, then looks back at the road. A smirk broke onto his face, but it quickly changed into smile.
